Housing Charities That specialise in Accommodation

ReVive International supports the work of a Brazilian NGO called 'ReaViva'. They work with young girls who have been forced into prostitution, have suffered from physical or sexual abuse or who find themselves in situations of sexual exploitation. ReVive is currently supporting their home for young girls and their other charitable activities.

Refugee Radio runs a range of community projects to promote education, racial harmony and social cohesion. These include a weekly mental health support group for refugees and migrants with PTSD and depression. We also run a casework advice service for benefits, education, housing and health. The project was founded around a radio programme and events to enable refugee voices to be heard.

The charity owns a building which houses a primary school for boys in Salford known as Toras Emes providing education based on tenets of the Orthodox Jewish religion.

Wild Tomorrow UK's mission is to save threatened and endangered species and the wild places they call home.We do this by protecting, restoring and rewilding habitat of high biodiversity value with a focus on Global Biodiversity Hotspots, Protected Areas and Wildlife Corridors. Our major project, in partnership with Wild Tomorrow Fund South Africa, is located in KwaZulu-Natal South Africa.

Home-Start Colchester Jaywick and Clacton makes a real difference to the lives of children 0 - 14 years and their parents. We do this by offering bespoke family support to respond to requests for help. We invest in local people by providing training and volunteer opportunities so that together we can make a real difference.

Hogarth's House is the former country home of the 18th century English artist William Hogarth in Chiswick. The House is a museum open to visitors from the public.

The Church provides buildings and facilities for religious activities, social and educational activities for children/young people, older people, people with disabilites, people from ethnic backgrounds etc. We provide human resources through our Minister, Elders and Pastoral Care Worker. We provide finance to support a School in Uganda, other Baptist acitivities at home and abroad.

We have a drop-in facility to help with any problems including budgeting, formfilling, counselling, listening ear, use of phone, help with findind housing, help with sorting utility problems etc. We serve the marginalized in our society. The Foodbank helps individuals and families in crisis through the provision of emergency food, other necessities and help towards energy costs. Agencies refer people to the Foodbank Centre where they can collect or receive a home delivery. We also offer support to gain cooking skills and help to ensure clients maximise their income and in certain cases help to manage outstanding debts.

To provide care in the form of temporary homes for Scottish Terriers & any other breed from the same household or kennel which have need of such care by reason of neglect or ill-treatment or where owners of such dogs are no longer able to care for them properly and to assist in the provision of new homes for these dogs where they may be properly cared for.

RCCG - Calvary Love City Chester had a variety of activities and events towards achieving it objectives of advancing the Christian faith - Water and Holy Spirit Baptismal Class for new convert.Conferences were also held for young people tagged "Addiction For Jesus" and CLCC Leaders retreat. Calvary Love City Christmas community outreach (visit to residential care home).

Advice. Free, confidential advice from trained volunteers on a range of topics, debt, benefits, employment/consumer rights & many more.Transport Scheme. Volunteer drivers take elderly and infirm people to various destinations including hospital, doctors, shopping & Day Centres.Good Neighbour Scheme. Volunteers visiting people in their own home to help with paperwork & to alleviate loneliness.

The Charity's objective is to relieve elderly people living within the Borough of Scarborough who are in need, in particular but not exclusively by reason of financial hardship or disability, by providing housing for rent and items, services or facilities calculated to reduce the needs of such persons. We own 40 flats which are let at less than market rents to elderly people.

Aim to improve the wildlife habitats of the nature park in order to broaden the biodiversity of the site and conserve existing species. The site is used for local community events and also for education activities for all ages as it is the major open green space for a large new housing development.
