RUNNING OF A NURSING HOME TO PROVIDE RELIEF FOR PERSONS REQUIRING SPECIALIST ATTENTION.

GRANTS TO INDIVIDUAL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB FOR NECESSITOUS PURPOSES. DEATH GRANTS TO BEREAVED FAMILIES TO ASSIST WITH FUNERAL EXPENSES. CONVALESCENT GRANTS FOR MEMBERS GOING ON CONVALESCENT STAY AT THE RAOB CONVALESCENT HOMES. BENEVOLENT FUND IS AVAILABLE TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE RAOB MERSEY PROVINCE WHO ARE IN FULL FINANCIAL COMPLIANCE. THE FUND ALSO ASSISTS WIDOWS IN NECESSITOUS CIRCUMSTANCES.

A voluntary organisation enabling women to provide an effective role in the community, to expand their own horizons and to develop and pass on important skills. This is done by taking part in activities such as art and craft, cookery, walks, visiting local residential homes, holding meetings with a wide of range of speakers and generally getting involved in the local community.

The trust provides grants to enable people working with children to travel at home or abroad for the purpose of enlarging their experience and enhancing the quality of their work. Applications are particularly welcomed from those working with disadvantaged or disabled children. Grants are not available for academic research or courses leading to a qualification.

The prime aim of the charity is to support by gifts, charities/organisations for the elderly within the Formby area.

To supply the needs of any people with financial worries especially payments which give relief for sudden disasters and pay for particulatr areas of home support.

Educational Charity to provide assistance/awards to children/young adults in the Arksey area.

Christian evangelism. Including health relief - care of children and homeless - training and education. All activities carried out in India.

Lodge Member donations to the Fund are used to make outgoingdonations to local hospices/homes

Open Playing Fields, home for Bradfield Cricket Club, used by football teams in winter and fitness classes.

On 14 June 2015, the Management Committee adopted Universal Welfare Trust as the working name of the charity to further the aims of poverty alleviation and universal suffering not only in UK but also abroad; provision of sporting activities in the West Midlands, social housing in association with Midshire Housing, free Benefits advice and training in bookkeeping/accounts for the unemployed.

Members provide the service of spiritual healing (laying on of hands) to individuals by request in private homes, churches, or premises open to public use.

Supporting children with disabilities having short breaks away from home, the charity provides toys, outings, sensory equipment, items to enhance childrens leisure time and funding towards the vehicle owned by the home

The charity has ownership of a parcel of woodland "Smaller Poors Piece" in Little Baddow and the money from its lease is held in funds fully separated although it is jointly administered with charity 239382. The object of the charity is to relieve either generally or individually persons resident in the Parish of Little Baddow who are in conditions of emotional or other need, hardship or distress.

Cancer Support Group offering counselling, information, support to anyone affected by cancer be it patient, relatives and friends. One to one counselling support, plus group counselling, bereavement counselling, home hospital and hospice visits.Weekly drop in sessions. Advice and advocacy on issues affecting cancer patients.

Improving the wellbeing of the elderly
