The main business is providing accommodation for the elderly low-income people of Windsor.

Provision of sheltered housing for elderly people in specified circumstances.

Sackville College is a beautiful Jacobean almshouse which provides accommodation for local elderly people of limited means. The flats are comfortable, warm, safe and secure. There is a strong community spirit. The college is not supported by the Government and relies on fundraising events, visitors, donations and a very low weekly charge for its income.

For the benefit of All Saints almspeople and for the purpose of furthering the work of the Church Of England in the archdeaconry of Bristol. The maintenance of All Saints Church, Bristol.

To provide & maintain four 1-bedroom flats for occupancy by residents of Wirksworth Parish who, would otherwise be unable to afford to live in the area.

Provision of Almshouses

The charity manages the Oxshott Village Centre and is landlord and licenser to the Oxshott Medical Practice and licenser to The Vernon Educational Trust, the licences being for the provision of car parking services and the use of a playing field.

The charity's work is carried out principally through the Convent in Mill Hill which includes a Registered Care Home and supports the work of the Congregation's members in the community. The work is also performed in various ministries throughout the Country where work includes care, counselling, spiritual direction, visitations and therapy.

We help people on low income towards the cost of their dogs, cats, rabbits and other smaller animals to be spayed or neutered, to reduce the great number of animals being "put to sleep", going to bad homes, etc. We also rescue, rehabilitate and rehome small animals. We are a contact for caring animal welfare groups. We are known as 'PUP' in UK.

Barlow Homes provides accomodation of 37 bungalows and a Community Hall.The Community Hall is used for residents meetings, council meetings, club meetings and local elections.

Provision of almshouse services for needy people.

The SAA takes in unwanted and abandoned animals (currently cats and rabbits). We provide care and veterinary treatment for them until we find them new homes.

To provide housing, recreation and leisure for elderly people and students in Tower Hamlets.

Activities loosely follow the themes: our home & garden, our village & town, our environment & animals, our country, the world & space, holiday activities, the seaside, the seasons, night & day, relevant book topics, shopping, festivals, different communities, transport methods, music, physical education and body awareness, social skills and preparing for school and general safetly.

Provision of housing accommodation for persons in need, hardship or distress who are resident in the Civil Parish of Rowington and the surrounding district and the promotion of education of persons in need who are under the age of 25 years and who are resident in the Civil Parish of Rowington and the surrounding district. (Exceptions can be made in exceptional circumstances)

Housing elderly persons with preference being given to those living in the ancient borough of Luton at the time of appointment.

Provision of Alms Houses for the poor and needy

The Trust is an almshouse and grant-making charity operating only in the Parish of Harefield. It provides alms accommodation for qualifying elderly women and families and also playing fields. At Christmas cash grants are made in lieu of traditional coal allocations to qualifying elderly. Grants are also made from time to time to individuals or groups with an established need.

Alms House Accommodation scheme for elderly people, thirteen flats, 24 hour care line cover provided by local authority.The medieval buildings have a voluntary museum . The original chapel still offers residents and visitors Holy Communion monthly ( Normally the first Wednesday of each month at 10.00 AM). The two remunerated persons are the Clerk to the Trustees and Custodian/Caretaker

The letting and upkeep of almshouses to elderly people of good character who have resided in the surrounding area for not less than two years preceding the time of application.

We support unpaid carers by providing essential respite breaks, allowing them time to rest and recharge at Ince Blundell Hall. Our work helps sustain carers' well-being, ensuring they can continue their vital role with renewed energy and support.

The relief of poverty and distress and the advancement of education of persons resident in Camden and the surrounding area in particular those who are homeless or living in temporary accommodation.

The Charity of Mrs Mabel Luke provides affordable housing for people in housing need and with a connection to the town of Newbury or the parish of Greenham. The original endowment was of 4 almshouses but in 2018 the Charity completed the redevelopment of the site and now owns 16 one- and two-bedroom flats at Mabel Luke Place, in central Newbury. The Charity is a Registered Provider.
