Housing Charities

The charitable company is registered as a domiciliary care agency with the Care Inspectorate Wales, and employs trained carer support workers who work closely with families who have caring commitments. We deliver home based respite and emotional support specifically to carers and their families, and we also provide weekly and monthly support groups.

We are a mental health charity that provides early and timely intervention for people struggling with their mental health. We provide therapy to people and work to help people with their mental health, reduce homelessness and prevent suicide. We fundraise through events and people individually fundraising.

We operate a Day/Therapy Centre for disabled and older people. They enjoy social interaction, games, exercise, assisted baths and home cooked food. Personal Carers assist when required.We also run Dial-a-Ride & Community Transport enabling users to enjoy independence-enabling visits to doctors, hospitals, friends/family and shopping. We run home-to-school SEN transport.

We assist those in need because of age, ill health, disability or other disadvantage by:a) providing social housing in Aldringham, Suffolk and Colchester, Essex.b)making grants of money for items, services or facilities.2. We may also make grants to any charity in Suffolk, Essex or London and any charity in England and Wales that is primarily for the benefit of people in those areas.

Members of the Community continued to work in hospitals and nursing homes providing medical and nursing support. In the local parish communities the sisters undertake pastoral work, including adoration of the Blessed Sacrament, visiting and administering the Eucharist to the lonely, sick, aged, bereaved and other members of the community. They are also involved in other aspects of parish life.

The Beam Foundation aims to promote the education of people experiencing homelessness, people with disabilities, and people with a criminal record by providing assistance in the form of crowdfunded vocational training and support in finding employment once training has been completed.

Residential Care Home for the Elderly

The Bond Board Limited provides promissory bonds, tenancy support and other assistance to people who are homeless or inadequately housed in Greater Manchester and the North West.

Beis Brucha provides supported residential care for disadvantaged,vulnerable women post-birth,particularly those contending with physical disabilities,domestic abuse,mental health issues & PND.Babies are cared for in a dedicated nursery whilst mothers recuperate.Qualified nursery staff support mothers in acquiring necessary skills to care for their newborn & themselves despite their limitations.

Operation of a residential home for people in need of residential care

Langdon empowers Jewish adults with learning disabilities with the skill and opportunities to live independently in their communities within a Jewish ethos.

The Charity provides sheltered housing for older people from Walthamstow or Chingford in the London Borough of Waltham Forest. The Charity also makes grants.Grant making falls broadly into two categories; relief in need and grants to other charitable organisations or institutions sharing similar objectives to the Charity. The recipients of grants must reside within Walthamstow or Chingford.

NHP takes a ground-breaking approach through its commitment to young people's ownership, enabling young people leaving care to achieve connected and fulfilling lives. The relief of those in need by reason of age in Suffolk and the surrounding area by the provision of a meals on wheels service to assist elderly people who are unable to prepare hot, nutritious meals themselves, including a health and well-being check thereby helping them to live independently in their own homes.

To provide free accessible veterinary care to animals belonging to those experiencing homelessness, the vulnerable and those in crisis

Promotion of the establishment, continuation, efficiency and effectiveness of almshouse foundations, and to promote the provision, improvement, upkeep and maintenance of almshouses, and associated services and facilities.

Provide emergency refuge accommodation to persons and children affected by domestic abuse. We support families in the community with floating support and outreach. Specialist services for children and young persons.Other services include the running of the Freedom Programme, Recovery Toolkit, substance misuse, counselling, homeopathy and fun days out. awareness raising.

Provision of housing for vulnerable people. Support available for the general public in areas such as money advice, debt counselling and budgeting, drug and alcohol abuse, benefit claiming and housing. Charitable trading via furniture shops in Southend-On-Sea - these shops provide opportunities for beneficiaries of the project to volunteer, gain experience and even be employed.

The provision of housing accommodation and such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.

Promoting and facilitating social, physical and economic development in Hendon. Objectives are the relief of unemployment, advancement of education, provision and improvement of housing, provision of recreational facilities, protection of the environment, provision of health facilities, promotion of public safety, prevention of crime and other means from time to time determined by the trustees.
