Low cost housing for the elderly of the Parish

Provides accommodation for poor people of good character, preference given to those who live in the village of Linton.

The Charity owns 6 Almshouses built c1680. An E shaped block in red brick with pantile roof. They are listed and in a Conservation Area.

The Charity manages the Almshouses at Waddesdon, and applies income for repairs and for the benefit of the Almspeople.

The Trust owns the Almshouses in Haywards Heath, Sussex, a terrace of 6 small, attractive, self-contained cottages really only suitable for single occupancy. Their purpose is to provide low-cost accommodation for elderly persons of low income, preferably already living in the Haywards Heath area. The Trust, which is a charitable trust, does not make grants to other charities.

Provides accommodation for people in need in the Parish of Tirley.

We are the local Maidenhead and East Berkshire branch of the RSPCA. Our key aim is to find suitable homes for as many animals as possible and to provide proper care for those which have been mistreated or abandoned. In addition, we promote the works and objects of the National Society. We rely purely on the effort of volunteers who provide invaluable support.

Providing accommodation for local people of limited means.

To provide accommodation in Stockton almshouses for needy persons of not less than 60 years of age of good character who may be married persons residing in the "area of benefit" of Codford and Stockton.

The objects of the charity are: a. the provision of almshouse accommodation for beneficiaries; and b. such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents as the trustees decide.

The property consists of four units of accommodation each containing kitchen, bedroom, bathroom, lounge and hallway. At the rear of the property there is an area of land divided into 18 allotments which are let to local residents. Those living in the property are all over the age of 50 and in the main are locally born people.

The Trust continues to operate locally. Fields and allotments are in use. The Trust Cottages are fully occupied. Routine maintenance continues with local tradesmen employed. Improvements to the general standard of housing quality have been carried out on a planned schedule to conform to current standards. The Trust continuesto support disadvantaged residents and students within the Parish.

Making donations for the provision of housing for the elderly and those of limited means.

The charity adminsters eight almshouses for residents over the age of 65 of the parishes of Fordingbridge, Godshill, Hyde and Sandleheath in Hampshire

Management of Almshouses known as Northam Court

The charity continues to provide housing for disabled and elderly persons, minibuses collect the infirm, disabled and the elderly from local areas enabling them to attend services meetings and social functions.
