To provide low cost housing for low income persons/families

Affordable Almshouse housing for elderly and in need from the Borough of Southend.

Save a Child contributes to the maintenance and education of deprived children in India through one-to-one sponsorship at several well established homes in Delhi, Kolkata and rural West Bengal. SaC also sponsors students who have left the home and are pursuing further education. SaC's children come from a variety of backgrounds-all need a second, better chance in life.

Provision of housing

The running of almshouses for single women in need who are resident in or have connections with the area of benefit (the town of Berkhamsted and its surrounding area).

Our charity promotes animal welfare in the Branch area. Our main objective is to find suitable homes for as many animals as possible and to provide proper care for animals who come into the Branch's care.

Fund raising events for school equipment

The Charity administers and maintains two Village Halls and is the landlord for Biddenden Squash Club, Biddenden Tennis Club, Biddenden Juniours Football Club and Biddenden Bowls Club

Housing for the poor and needy of the Parish of St Pauls Langleybury

1. To promote education and assist persons under the age of 25 resident in Nottingham to pursue their education or training and may also provide grants for clothing, tools, instruments, or books and may include overseas travel to pursue education.2. To provide grants for persons under the age of 25 resident in Nottingham to relieve conditions of need, hardship or distress.

The charity provides one-bedroom flat accommodation for elderly persons with low income.

Provision of housing

The Village Hall is the centre of social activities in the village particularly so since the closure of the one and only public house in the village. A variety of users includes the Toddler Group, Pilates, local history group, birthday parties, weddings etc The Hall is also used as a refuge centre in the event of an emergency.

Fundraising & voluntary work. Provide subsidised veterinary care to low income people. Rehome animals. Perform home visits & advise people on pet ownership.

The main activities currently are the payment of grants to two Israel-registered non-profit organisations, of which one is for the purpose of providing housing for elderly people who need financial assistance, and the other provides help for Holocaust Survivors and other people in need.

The administration and management of the land and buildings constituting the eight Fulbourn Almshouses in Church Lane, Fulbourn, Cambs.

The trust owns six almshouses at St Silas Road, Blackburn, where it provides accommodation for the elderly residents. The trust has more recently acquired one additional property which is a flat at Fairhope Court Blackburn which was transferred to it from another Charity pursuant to an order of the Charity Commission and a resident has now been appointed to occupy this flat.

Provides housing, when available, to those on low income and/or housing benefits.

We provide a free, confidential voluntary service offering extra care to those living with life limiting illnesses and support to their carers in Leighton Buzzard, Linslade and the district. Our service provides an opportunity for clients to have someone to talk to outside of the family unit, or for their carers to have some respite.

The provision of homes as residences for farmers and other agricultural workers in Northumberland, who are incapacitated through old age or infirmity, or who are not less than sixty years of age, who are in need of assistance and who have retired from full employment, and who shall prior to ceasing work have been employed in agriculture in Northumberland for a period of not less than 15 years.

NGDR relieves the suffering of Great Danes in need of care and attention; by seeking to provide and maintain rescue homes or other facilities for their care and treatment, then seek to secure new and appropriate homes for these Great Danes.

The charity provides housing accommodation for beneficiaries who are single men or women aged sixty years or over residing in Malpas or surrounding area for a period of two years or more.

The activities of the charity are mainly the provision of housing, welfare and pensionfacilities for senior citizens who have been associated with the Wallace family and toassist wherever possible with general good causes.

From net income thus: 1/3rd for the general benefits of the inhabitants of Selby TOWN (only) for the relief of the aged, poor, those in distress, the sick, improvements of life in recreation and leisure, also for provision and support of educational facilities. 1/3rd to the Almshouse and Poors Charity, 1/3rd to the Feoffee Estate Church Charity
