PROVISION OF ACCOMMODATION AND WORK TO PREVIOUSLY HOMELESS PEOPLE.SOCIAL FURNITURE SCHEMERECYCLING FACILITIES

The protection of horses and smaller animals from ill usage, cruelty and suffering by the provision and maintenance of an animal refuge and such other facilities.

To provide temporary housing for homeless refused asylum seekers in Nottingham while they prepare to submit fresh claims for asylum or access Section 4 accommodation; and to combat homelessness among those, mostly single people, recently granted asylum or refugee status. Additionally to provide supported housing to survivors of modern slavery and/or human trafficking from emergency referrals.

Wythall Animal Sanctuary's aims and ideals have never wavered: striving to help, rehabilitate and safely re-home as many animals as we can. Whilst recognising in some cases re-homing is not possible, the sanctuary becomes their forever home. We continue to move forward embracing new policies, procedures and technology whilst ever trying to think of financial innovations to help our work continue.

Improving the lives of visually impaired people in Northamptonshire. Activities include provision of Single Persons Accommodation, Talking Newspaper Service, Home Visiting Service, Mobile Sight Centre, Computer Training, Aids & Adaptations.

Provision of sheltered accommodation for the elderly in 39 flats.

Daisy's Dream is a professional support service which responds to the needs of children and families affected by life threatening illness or bereavement. We offer a flexible service which is tailored to meet the individual needs of each child and their family. This may include telephone support and advice, group events, home and school visits for the child or young person.

The charity exists to maintain the hospital which consists of 24 almshouses, a chapel and ancillary buildings. Qualifying persons over 60 entitled to reside here are elected from local parishes. The education foundation provides financial assistance towards the education of persons under 25 years also resident in local parishes.

We are raising awareness of Community Sponsorship across the country. We are supporting community groups on their journeys towards welcoming refugees into their local areas. We are listening to and gathering the experiences of sponsor groups and sponsored refugees. We are conveying their views to the Home Office in order to shape the development of Community Sponsorship on a national scale.

To provide homes for men and women aged 60 years and over of modest means who, at the time of their application, live within the City of Nottingham and the adjacent boroughs of Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe.

MENTORING SERVICE -VOLUNTEERS PROVIDE ONE TO ONE SUPPORT OUTSIDE THE FAMILY HOME, FOR VULNERABLE YOUNG PEOPLE AGED 10-16.FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICE - TRAINED VOLUNTEERS WORK WITH LOCAL VULNERABLE FAMILIES, EMPOWERING THEM TO MOVE THEIR LIVES FORWARD.

The Choir with No Name provides choirs for people who have experienced homelessness. We began with one choir in London and are now expanding to run choirs across the country. Our work is based on the premise that singing is good for you; it makes you happy; and a choir can provide a community that is all too often lacking from the lives of homeless people.

Deki provides access to ethical micro-loans, alongside business and community development training in Togo, West Africa.Focusing on women, we provide gender rights education, empowering women to become leaders in their homes and communities and becoming role models for the next generation.

Homelessness in the UKThere are more than 300,000 people in Britain who are destitute, with no proper home, or the means of acquiring one.Emmaus Communities offer more than food and shelter and provides a lasting solution that restores self-esteem and confidence. Emmaus provides home and work for the formerly homeless.

The objects of the charity are the provision of housing, accommodation, assistance to help house people and associated facilities and amenities for those in necessitous circumstances.

We use community development to tackle long standing health and social inequalities. The Centre houses a community radio station, recording studio, caf+®, GP practice and community rooms used by the diverse communities that make up the Medway towns. Sunlight delivers services directly and uses community development to support individuals and groups to make positive changes to their communities.

Kalayaan provides support, legal advice and advocacy services to migrant domestic workers. Services include advice on immigration and employment rights, emergency accommodation, English classes and support to victims of trafficking for domestic servitude. In addition, Kalayaan advocates for the rights of migrant domestic workers and works to improve the legislative environment around them.

The Norwegian YWCA is a students' home and a guest house, primarily to Norwegian women, but also others. Through our leadership training programme, and other events focusing on different topics, we encourage young people to take leadership in their own lives and engage in society.

ST. CUTHBERT'S CENTRE WAS SET UP IN 1990 TO RELIEVE POVERTY, HARDSHIP AND DISTRESS IN GREATER LONDON. ITS MISSION STATEMENT IS 'PROVING THE COMMUNITY CARES', WHICH IT DOES BY PROVIDING A SAFE HAVEN AND A VARIETY OF SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES FOR THE HOMELESS AND OTHERS WHO HAVE NOWHERE ELSE TO GO AND NO-ONE ELSE TO TURN TO FOR HELP. IT IS OPEN 5 DAYS A WEEK.

The Charity provides a ministry of hospitality to visitors, retreatants and some vulnerable people, on the main site and at Winson, at no fixed charge. Sisters provide spiritual direction, priestly and pastoral ministry in Oxford and Richmond,London.Gardens are maintained.The Charity is landlord to St John's Care Home, The Friary OFM and Helen & Douglas House, all on the Oxford site.

Museum of Homelessness has been created by people with direct experience of homelessness to educate on homelessness and make social change. The museum is building the national collection for homelessness and carries out independent research and campaigning to fight injustice. The museum provides direct, practical support to people experiencing homelessness addiction and poverty.

The provision of comprehensive benefits advice,focusing on providing free, confidential, independent advice in relation to: welfare benefits, debt, money management, housing issues, employment law, energy efficiency and general advice. The Community Centre provides a venue for use by groups, addressing isolation, loneliness, promoting healthy eating and exercise, catering for all age groups.

Provision and maintenance of almshouse housing accommodation for beneficiaries and of any Chapel attached thereto: Such charitable purposes for the benefit of the residents (generally or individually) as charity trustees decide: Relief of beneficiaries (generally or individually) by making grants of money or providing or paying for item and services calculated to relieve the needs of such persons.

Open Doors Network is a Christian Church in Southborough, Tunbridge Wells. The charity'sactivities include main worship services, prayer and bible study, periodic evangelisticalmeetings, outreach activities such as healing on the streets and Go teams based on a variety of different activities to serve the community, weekly youth and children's groups and gifts to missionaries.
