Housing Charities

Our charities aim is to keep the almshouses in good condition at a fair maintenance payment for needy people.

A Registered Social Landlord with six (6) almshouses capable of providiing accommodation for 6 elderly individuals or couples who have lived in the village of Drayton or have had some close association with it.

Provision of facilities, benefits, amenities and services to those in need, accommodated in the care homes of Fountain Housing Association, or others at the discretion of the Trustees.

The Mothers' Union provides Christian care for families worldwide. In the Bath & Wells Diocese in 2018 we had 1141 members. We have three Child Contact Centres and a Passionate about Parenting project; we provide Away From It All Holidays for families in adversity; we provide knitted and sewn items for local special baby units and residential homes; and support the Mothers' Union work worldwide.

The object of the charity is to provide low cost sheltered housing to members of the town or parish of Welshpool who are over the age of sixty years and in need.

Provision of unsupervised accommodation

Provides free physiotherapy for elderly people in their own homes.

The charity was established to provide almshouses for persons resident in the neighbourhood of Lees Cum Cross Roads, Keighley, West Yorkshire.

Entertainment for Hospital Patients, and those in Old Age Person Homes, and to those under ' Care in the Community'

The Charity owns the FREEHOLD of 35 RODENHURST ROAD CLAPHAM PARK LONDON SW4 8AE.It is occupied on privileged terms by those in need of HOUSING all originally within the SCHEME conceived (1965) by Maj CARR GOMM and THE ABBEYFIELD SOCIETY. It is modified to the extent that we do not OFFER nor do we now have the Services of a HOUSEKEEPER

Applying the income of the Charity in or towards providing convalescent treatment for poor patients on their being discharged from a Shropshire hospital or for other poor patients in any convalescent home or any institution. Applying the same for the benefit of sick and poor patients resident in Shropshire as the Trustees in their discretion think fit.

Provision of affordable housing

The main purpose and activity of the Fund is to render assistance to American and British citizens in Italy in connection with hardship arising from ill health.

As 'The Knighthood' to work for the advancement of the Christian religion and relief of poverty in co-operation with Christian churches at home and in the international field.To train and send forth Christian leaders, teachers and missionaries in deprived areas or where the churches need the services of men and women of the Christian vocation.

To provide a residential base for young people to help educate through leisure time activities, to develop physical and mental capacities to grow to full mature members of society.Most groups enjoy the opportunity to be able to go exploring and walking in the Yorkshire DalesDuke of Edinburgh groups are supervised at the hostel for the assessing process.

The principal activity of the trust is the provision of housing accommodation for necessitous persons.

Regular weekly programme of the Fellowship, including worship services and services in local Care Homes. Supporting local projects such as Greenwich Street Pastors, Greenwich Foodbank, Greenwich Church Leaders Forum, Greenwich Night Shelter, Greenwich Youth for Christ, Greenwich CAP (Christians Against Poverty). Projects supported in Africa and Brazil including missionary work and aid.

The trust shall apply income for the purpose of relieving in cases of need persons resident in the county of Wrexham, who are sick, convalescent, disabled, handicapped or infirm. Services or facilities which are calculated to alleviate the suffering or assist the recovery of such persons in such cases but are not readily available to them from other sources.

Educational services to those interested in our military history. 4.Support to bereaved family of members. 5. 3 current projects - to set up a Caribbean military museum, accommodation for homeless forces personnel 6.Fund-raising . Military Parade 7. Food bank for members.
