We create access opportunities, to bridge the gap between state education and higher study. We support individuals to undertake education abroad to gain skills and qualifications unavailable in Myanmar. We provide networking and community development support when they return home.

Objective is to work for the promotion of any charitable purposes for the benefit of women and children experiencing domestic violence, by the advancement of education, the protection of health and the relief of poverty, sickness and distress. We work mainly from our centre in Edge Hill, close areas where Asylum Seekers are housed and are best described as providing general assistance, specialising in help for the homeless. We work with approximately 3000 individuals a year, 250 of whom are registered with us destitute. The centre functions as a community centre, providing the safe space needed by Asylum Seekers to meet and relax.

Gloucester City Mission seeks to give practical help to rough sleepers, the homeless, those who are vulnerable or marginalised members of the local community. It is an alliance of Christians working together to share the love of Christ in Gloucester through witness in the neighbourhood and on the streets.

EMMAUS TACKLES HOMELESSNESS IN A UNIQUE WAY BY PROVIDING A HOME, WORK, COMPANIONSHIP AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR PERSONAL GROWTH. IN SALFORD WE ARE ESTABLISHING A COMMUNITY FOR 26 PEOPLE IN A PROPERTY CONVERTED FOR THE PURPOSE. THE PROPERTY INCLUDES A SHOP WHICH RECYCLES FURNITURE AND OTHER SECOND HAND GOODS. WE HAVE TWO OTHER SHOPS WHICH SELLS SIMILAR ITEMS.
