Housing Charities

Iain Rennie Hospice at Home is part of RGHC which provides palliative care for adults and children who have been diagnosed with cancer or another life limiting illness in Herts & Bucks. Through our 24/7 responsive hospice at home service, our specialist nurses give patients the choice to be cared for at home. We also offer support services for families and, in Herts, a range of day services.

Cooking a Hot Meal on Christmas Day for 100 approx people, an outing by Canal Boat for people from residental/nursing homes, providing and maintaining a pendant-operated Lifeline Telephone service with approx 400 units in service, plus helping the community in various task as and when required to do so. Donations to other Charities working within our community.

- Education: ESOL and sewing classes for women- Help with housing difficulties.- Elders social club: meets one day a week.- Out-reach services: informal drop-in.- Health Issues: Women's health workshops, etc.- Youth project: a space for young people to address issues that concern them.

Provides accommodation to elderly people who have resided in, or have strong links to Wallingford

To raise funds to provide nursing care and equipment for patients nursed under the Peterborough Hospital At Home Scheme

THE TRUSTEES MANAGE 8 BUNGALOWS WHICH ARE FOR THE OVER 60'S WHO LIVE IN THE PARISH'S OF WOODHOUSE & BRADLEY OR HAVE CONNECTIONS WITH THEM.

Provision of housing for needy - selection based on criteria set out in Trust Deed - foremost being length of domicile within the Town of Higham Ferrers.

TO PROVIDE RELIEF, INCLUDING PROVISION OF HOUSING, GOODS, SERVICES, FACILITIES OR GRANTS OF MONEY, TO PERSONS RESIDENT IN THE PARISH OF HINXTON WHO ARE IN NEED, HARDSHIP OR DISTRESS. TO BENEFIT THE RESIDENTS OF THE PARISH OF HINXTON BY PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE AND FOR RECREATION.

PROVIDING HOUSING FOR OLDER LOCAL RESIDENTS.

Parent & Teachers association. Engage in activities which support the school and advance the education of pupils.

Provision of sheltered housing accommodation for those qualifying for the scheme

Provision and management of five cottages as Almshouses in Stoke by Nayland. Ownership and management of two plots of agricultural land. Working to develop more almshouses within the geographical scope of the charity, which is the Ancient Parish of Stoke by Nayland.

To provide accommodation for older people who are in need and who are inhabitants of the parish of Newport Pagnell. Preference is given to members of the United Reformed Church in Newport Pagnell.

Parc & Dare founded in 1893 in Cwmparc in the Rhondda. Its successes are legendary inc. championship prizes, hundreds of concerts performances at home and abroad; been the focus of countless journal, press articles & amassing over 250 media broadcasts, numerous cds and recordings.The band promotes the art of music making provides learning and performing opportunities to all sectors and age groups.

Housing for elderly

Almshouses

Provide accommodation for elderly or those who deserve reasonably low priced housing to rent. The money raised is for special needs of the Apostolic Faith Church.

Upkeep of almshouses at Boroughgate, Appleby in Westmorland, for the benefit of almspeople.

- Elders support work (hot meals, dementia support)- Support work with young people with health/mental health needs- Community culture and heritage- General community support and signposting (benefits, housing, employment, education advocacy)

The Charity is an Almshouse providing three properties for occupation by people in Stratton, Dorset

Almshouses for former members of HM's Forces or for those who have undertaken substantial service for the local community within the counties of Herefordshire, Worcestershire or Salop.
