The Pushkin House Trust promotes Russian culture via an extensive programme of lectures, readings, concerts, exhibitions, film and language training. Pushkin House is open Monday to Friday 9.30-18.00 and for evening events. The House offers a range of facilities including a lecture theatre, teaching rooms and a library.

We operate: 8 rooms of Supported Accommodation for rough sleepers who require support for up to 2 years before moving on to independent living; Thrice weekly Drop-in Services working with partners, supporting & managing referrals to appropriate services; An annual 12 bed Winter Night Shelter providing a secure environment, shower, meal & help for those requiring access to local facilities

Working in North East London, we support people in need to stay independent, active and connected to their communities. We provide practical help through our home adaptations and therapeutic decluttering services, social and digital inclusion activities, falls prevention services, and advice and advocacy for people from marginalised and excluded communities.

Provision of housing for retired or needy widows of Church of England Clergy and Officers in HM Armed Forces

We provide a culturally and linguistically appropriate legal advice service for the residents of Manchester, particularly in the wards of Cheetham and Crumpsall. We provide quality assured advice in the social welfare legal categories of welfare benefits, debt, housing, and immigration (level one). We support residents to access other local services and run a volunteer development programme.

To provide food, drinks, clothing and a hot shower every day of the year to homeless and disadvantaged people plus advice on housing, debt, jobs, health( with a nurse available 2 days a week and a doctor 2 days a week) and drugs and alcohol and classes in English, Maths, IT and art. To provide advocacy on benefit and housing appeals. To promote health, safety and confidence building.

Resourcing body for local churches and support of mission at home and abroad

Home-Start Hertfordshire is a charity that supports families throughout Hertfordshire and covers the boroughs ofBroxbourne, Dacorum, East Hertfordshire, North Hertfordshire (excluding Royston), Stevenage, St Albans and WelwynHatfield. Home-Start Schemes offer support, friendship and practical help to parents with young children in local communities.

Home-Start Wessex is a family support charity that provides vital care to families at a crucial time in their lives. The support is offered to families with at least one child under 5 through individually designed packages of practical and emotional help lasting for around 6 months. This is either provided with one-to-one support in their own homes or through group support and therapy.

Citizens Advice Bureau in Hartlepool provides an advice, information and advocacy service for local residents. The Service provided covers a number of areas, these include, debt advice, employment law, consumer advice, housing advice and tenancy support service, welfare benefit advice, money guidance, taxes,utilities and other matters.

Our church provides regular public worship, offers prayer & pastoral support & teaches Christianity through sermons, courses & groups. We provide activities with a Christian ethos for children & young people. We support local community needs (eg Soup kitchen, Night shelter, debt counselling, local church plant) & overseas mission partners (eg Christian Aid, Lamb hospital, CSW, Amos Trust.)

To achieve our aims, HMSC undertakes a number of key activities:- The provision of free, high quality immigration advice. - The provision of housing and welfare rights advice. - The provision of a hot meal and welcoming environment, allowing visitors to relax, socialise and build up their support networks. - Undertaking campaigning activities.

The Charity supports current and former Royal Mail Group Ltd and Post Office Ltd employees. We provide one-off financial grants for those facing unexpected financial difficulties, life-changing health challenges or homelessness.

Crisis accommodation, advice, information and trauma informed and responsive support for women and children fleeing or recovering from domestic violence including high risk of domestic homicide or serious harm.

The charity raises funds to house and care for lost and unwanted dogs in the area. It holds a non-destruction policy and will look after every dog until a suitable, loving home is found.

HOME-START OFFERS FREE SUPPORT, FRIENDSHIP AND PRACTICAL HELP TO FAMILIES WITH AT LEAST ONE CHILD UNDER FIVE WHO MAY BE UNDERGOING PRESSURES SUCH AS LONELINESS AND ISOLATION, DEPRESSION OR SEVERAL PRE-SCHOOL CHILDREN WITHOUT THE SUPPORT OF FAMILY AND FRIENDS. FAMILIES ARE VISITED REGULARLY IN THEIR OWN HOMES BY VOLUNTEERS WHO ALL HAVE EXPERIENCE OF PARENTING AND KNOW HOW HARD THINGS CAN BE.

The provision of hostel accommodation for single young people aged 16-35. We provide a hall, lounge, training room for the use of the Ripon community. Our own work includes a drama club for young people aged 11-16 and a parent and toddler group.
