Housing Charities

Raise monies to help the needy pay vets fees for treatment / operations & vaccinations of pets in their care. Make regular donations and food supplies to Animal Sanctuaries to help in the up keep of unwanted animals that come into their care whilst looking for new homes for them.

We provide six almshouse cottages in East Farleigh for the poor of the Parish

provides help to ex members of the Royal Air Force and their dependants in the Tamworth Area in the form of welfare and other requirements including respite home accommodation when neccessary

The Trustees continue to promote the objects of the Charity through organisations connected with the Graphical, Paper and Media industries

The main activity is the provision of almshouses.

We manage the village hall in Ilsington for many regular as well as occasional users. An extension was built on to the village hall and this now houses the community shop. We also now have a meeting room as well as the hall.

Fundraising for school.

The care and maintenance of the 6 terraced houses, as bequested by Martha Walker.

The Charity exists to provide four almshouses for poor persons of good character resident in the Parish of Leathley

The work of the charity is to further the spiritual growth of the members of Seaton Christadelphian Ecclesia, to promote the spread of Bible-based Christianity in the area, and support such work nationally and internationally; to contribute to charitable causes, primarily of a Christian nature at home and overseas.Income is solely derived from member donations, some via Gift Aid.

The charity works by raising funds from voluntary sources within the Diocese of Guildford which are used to make grants to assist local churches and faith-linked organisations develop and sustain community projects. Projects cover a wide range of public sectors including education, youth work, mental health, community development and the relief of homelessness and poverty in the local area.

Provision of housing for persons in need with preference given to those who are members of the Society of Friends.

Maintaining and letting almshouses

Mary Elton Home School Association exists to support Mary Elton Primary School in Clevedon through fundraising to provide finance for one off projects including grounds improvements, extra curricular activities and providing additional school equipment. The charity is represented by parents and teachers.

The Trust owns and manages Bogan House, an important grade 1 listed building located in the centre of Totnes, which houses the Devonshire collection of period costume and provides rooms for meetings, classes etc. The trust also makes grants towards the costs of local community organisations and events.

The Basingstoke Charities brought to gether 28 local Charities. 1-8 deal with the Sir James Deane Almshouses, 9-25 with various Charities for the poor and 26-28 deal with Charities for the Lecturer (Vicar).

Provision of housing for the elderly living within a 5 miles radius of Cottingley

The charity provides social housing for elderly people over 60 years of age from the local area or where need is required.

Stanney Grange Community Centre is on Stanney Grange housing estate. The Community centre is available for one off and regular community activities run by the community for the community.

Danby Almshouse was established to provide accommodation for poor persons of more than 50 years of age and of good character from the local area. The charity owns and manages four properties.

Provides almshouse accommodation for people in need of housing. Preference given to the poor of Loughton and those who have been members of Loughton Union Church for a period of ten years.
