Supports national charities,& local charities in NE & SE England. Interested in people with physical or mental handicaps: improving quality of life through equipment, activities and holidays;the young: with emphasis on improving prospects of employment by education and meaningful activities; health: improving quality of life of the ill, their carers and the old at home or in hospital.

PROVISION OF SOCIAL HOUSING

Provide a Hall and facilities as our village's home for all kinds of activities and events. Large lawn area enables outdoor events in good weather. It is busy but hire fees do not fully cover outgoings so the Committee also run fund raising events such as a monthly Village Market, Allotments and Film shows. Also we house local and general elections and the local emergency centre.

Provision of affordable housing for single elderly people

Provision of 5 homes for older people in the village of Evenwood.

Pevensey Memorial Hall is for the use of the community. The hall is hired out for Ballroom Dancing, Modern Sequence Dancing, Indoor Bowls, Guides and Brownies. Bingo is held every Friday evening and the Hall is hired out at any other available time for various functions. The Hall also produces a 32 page glossy covered magazine, The Parish Pump,distributed free to 5000 homes, three times a year.

We have no activitys we house spinsters and widows of Snaith & Cawicks.

Providing housing.

To provide accommodation for the needy who have been associated with the Parish of Penshurst.

The objective of the charity is to provide housing for poor people of at least 60 years of age resident in Heckington and certain defined villages

Almshouse consisting of six 1-bedroom self-contained flats for single person occupancy. For men and women over the age of 55 with a local connection.

PROVIDES HOUSING FOR THE MINISTER OF GOLDERS GREEN UNITARIAN CHURCH OR PAYS A HOUSING ALLOWANCE FROM MANSE RENTAL AND INVESTMENT INCOME. SUBJECT TO MAINTAINING AN APPROPRIATE RESERVE, SURPLUS INCOME IS PAID OVER TO THE CHURCH.

Provision of housing to residents of the Gulval area under the provisions of the Charitable Property Grant and Almshouses Act

The original purpose of the charity was to house 18 poor, elderly woman of Hay-on-Wye or the surrounding district. During 1973/74 extensive alterations were made to provide more modern accommodation for 12 women. Since 2002, with the conversion of a flat formerly used as warden accommodation, 13 women have been accommodated.

Make grants through diocesan bishops to assist clergy with holiday expenses.

We provide manpower and resources to maintain buildings and run museum, provide projects for schools & pre-school groups, care homes, clubs etc, open 7 days week to general public. Supply information on maritime matters and local history in answer to enquiries from around the world.

28th Odiham Scouts provides adventure, educational and social development for children from ages 6 through to 14, in accordance with the published scout policy, organisation and rules (POR) (see: http://scouts.org.uk/home/)

Provide accommodation

The Trust rehouses women of at least 55 years of age. Our definition of a woman for this purpose is a person assigned female at birth and presenting as female.

The charity continued to collect rent from the old almshouses that they own.

The principal activity is to provide accomodation for the beneficiaries of the trust created for the benefit of single women of necessitous circumstances with preference being given to those who live in the Alsager area

Provision of Almshouse accommodation in Harvington, Worcestershire.

The accomadation provided consists of one bedroom flats and is of sheltered rather than full care nature.
