The principal activity is to promote and encourage ,horticulture, conservation and forestry for the public benefit and to improve and advance them in all branches and in all trades,crafts and professions with them in an exclusively charitable manner.Educational advancement in all the above by granting of bursaries.Promotion of the above to the public by holding of an annual show.

ATOL will provide Supported Living in a domiciliary care setting, allowing service users to access work experience, internships, volunteering & hopefully paid employment whilst enjoying a caring familiar home setting with likeminded people. ATOL will ensure access to social activities and our people will develop skills to help them achieve higher levels of independent living eg catering/gardening.

Brockwell Park Community Greenhouses provides educational and training resource in sustainable horticultureand promotes physical and mental well-being through horticultural activities and engagement with the natural world.In addition the charity promotes wildlife and biodiversity and promotes healthy-eating and local food-growing.

Freightliners Farm is a city farm based in Islington, London. It aims to provide a rural type environment in an urban setting, which is open and accesible to all. The focus is on education, community participation and access to opportunities particularly for isolated and vulnerable people. Activities are based around farming, horticulture, animal care, crafts, food production and the environment.

The Charity's objects are the advancement of education and training by means of collaboration with the National Proficiency Tests Council in the administration of schemes of Proficiency Tests, Vocational Qualifications, Certificates of Competence, Certificates of Qualification and other such awards in agriculture, horticulture, forestry and other industries within the UK.

The Cardigan Centre's public building is used for community activities, educational courses and constructive leisure and welfare programmes, and has offices leased to local enterprises. Specialist work includes services for young people, older people, healthy living, handyperson and gardening services, practical help for groups, networks and enterprises, and provision of community information.

We advance the education of adults and young people with learning difficulties, challenging behaviours, or mental health problems through the provision of training and experience in agriculture, horticulture and other related skills. We develop the capacity and skills of the beneficiaries so they are better able to identify and help meet their needs and to participate more fully in society.

To promote and protect the mental health and well-being of British military veterans, providing support, friendship and outdoor wellbeing for veterans, those still serving and those with a spousal connection. To offer horticultural therapy and other outdoor wellbeing activities, assisting in the treatment and care of such persons who may be in need of socialisation or rehabilitation.

Our activities include weekly lunch and socials, food surplus, arts and crafts sessions, gardening and wellbeing sessions, family fun days, community interest faith and cultural groups, community hires and community festivals. As a strategic community hub, we support a wide range of TRA and ward partnership meetings.

To promote improvements in agriculutre generally, inlcuding forestry and horticulture, by holding exhibitions thereof and to use the Charity's showground and land for the generation of income in support of such activities.

To support the work and development of the Botanic Garden and to stimulate interest through a variety of events and activities. Income generated by such events, and also from membership subscriptions, is used to invest in new projects in the garden, make a major contribution to its upkeep and support horticultural education through the funding of trainees in the garden.

To promote, advance and improve for the benefit of the public agriculture, horticulture and rural crafts and skills by the demonstration and showing of livestock machinery, crafts, products, methods and processes connected with agriculture and agricultural education by the holding of an annual Show - known as the Ryedale Show.

Our services include: daily drop-in 'Chatty Cafe' (Mon-Sat), lunch (Mon-Fri), breakfast (Sat), meals on wheels (Mon-Fri), home help & gardening support, advice & signposting, activities and support groups, room hire for community events.

We are a small community centre based in the heart of Catford. Our aim is to provide the community a safe and welcoming place where people can participate in healthy activities such as sports, gardening and eating homemade healthy food. We collect furniture free of charge from residents and organisations in and around Tyne and Wear, diverting them from landfill.
