PROVISION OF WATER SPORTS AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES

Birch Hall Adventures provides outdoor education and activities for schools and groups. These include: Sailing, Simulated Caving, Bush Craft, Camping, Archery, Geo-caching, Nature Walks. It also provides access to facilities for other organisations and groups.

Hiring rooms to 70+ organisations, for educational, recreational and social activities. Organising events and activities including visits to properties, gardens, museums, galleries and concerts. Lectures, coffee mornings, indoor games and a library are provided. For younger residents awards are made for educational purposes including participation in the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme.

We provide a wide range of personal and social development activities to children and young people 8-19 years. We deliver 10 group sessions per week across this age range. Some of our activities include, but not limited to cooking, arts & crafts, games & challenges, DJing, football, outdoor activities,volunteering, training, life skills, Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme and more.

Gloucester Boathouse Ltd will build, maintain and manage a new boathouse and associated facilities to primarily promote rowing and canoeing on the Gloucester-Sharpness canal. The new boathouse has been designated as British Rowing's regional centre for Adaptive Rowing - rowing for those with disabilities.

The principal activity of the company is the running of Whitwell Hall Country Centre for boarding and camping for school residentials. To relieve those in need by reason of their youth, age, ill health, disability, financial hardship, or other disadvantage by such means as the trustees determine

Activities of the Club are the provision of facilities for kayaking, canoeing and paddle-sports from its base in Chelmsford. The Club's activities include all-inclusive training and coaching, providing equipment where necessary for all ages.

To create a community-led, residential centre enabling a range of outdoor educational and cultural experiences, to promote health, well-being and sustainability for children and young people with a view to a long-term community hub for all.

Activities are aimed at the 10-13 age group and develop independence and self confidence. Sessions include 2 youth diner groups and a drop in youth club in the evening. There are targeted activity sessions teaching new skills, craft sessions, health and well being plus games and outdoor activities.Activities for those over age 65 are aimed at reducing isolation through a weekly friendship group.

The advancement of amateur sport, specifically watersports including; canoeing, skiffing, rowing and dragon boating. The charity has focused on making enhanced provision of facilities for children and young people and disadvantaged groups

The fun club is based within the grounds of Sedgefield Primary and operates from their own purpose built premises. Fun club provides high quality reliable childcare at a reasonable cost for children aged 3-14 years before & after school and during school holidays. The club provides a range of indoor and outdoor activities for the children to participate in during their time at the club.

Providing activities for boys and girls 5 - 18 in Scouting Activities Camping, cooking first aid etc.

The organisation has numerous activities for youth from 6 years of age to 18 years. These include outdoor games and skills, like camping/cooking/nature/responsibility/ plus many indoor crafts and skills,

Working in a wide range of underserved communities to address under representation, we use outdoor activities such as rock climbing, kayaking and mountain biking and environmental projects to engage children, young people, 'at risk' adults and families to support increased health, wellbeing, self-esteem, pro social skills, volunteering and leadership opportunities.

The school uses the Accelerated Christian Education (ACE) system, used world wide in over 8000 schools, totalling over 1,000,000 pupils. Regular games & outdoor activities take place. We support children and young people with additional needs and those living with difficult life circumstances such as, young carers or those who have suffered a family bereavement, by providing access to outdoor activities, recognising the mental and physical health benefits. Additionally we aim to support their families and carers by providing respite breaks.

Essex Road is a vibrant Nursery and reflects the diversity of Islington. We are open Mon - Fri term time only from 9am - 3pm. Operating a double session and full day care. We have out door space with permanent climbing structure and room for freeplay. All four members of staff all with NVQ3 qualifications. We also have good links with other agencies.

We organise outdoor activity courses (climbing, caving, canoeing, cycling, triathlon, sailing) for visually impaired adults from all over the UK. We organise expeditions involving these activities. We act as hub connecting visually impaired adults and sighted guides. We facilitate groups of visually impaired adults to organise their own trips and expeditions.

Project RECCE has created a pathway into the construction industry, for service leavers and veterans, utilising classroom based, on-line learning and work trials, in collaboration with industry partners who can provide sustainable employment opportunities. The programme is complemented with outdoor activities and access to a peer-support community, improving both physical and mental wellbeing.
