Leisure Charities

Provides a diverse programme of courses and activities/opportunities within it's Community Centre e.g. educational, recreational, health initiatives, support groups, employment advice, training & volunteering opportunities.

St Paul's is a Christian community serving the people of North Marylebone. We are open 7 days a week, and our building hosts a huge variety of community groups, including exercise classes for the elderly, music for children, support groups for those with learning difficulties, dance classes, and more.

BCT Aspire CIO is a Youth Work Organisation based in Billingham which provides recreational, leisure, social and development activities for children and young people, and their families across the borough of Stockton-on-Tees. This is done through a range of programmes, sessions, projects and events supported by an amazing team of volunteers, in partnership with other agencies and communities.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation for the benefit of those who by reason of their youth, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances have a need of such facilities in particular through the provision of holidays for such persons and the provision of community recreational facilities for local children.

Greenacres Community Association runs and manages a community centre serving Greenacres and surrounding neighbourhoods. The centre provides facilities for recreation, leisure, education in the interest of social welfare to benefit the whole community.

Diverse Voices acts as a resource for young people up to the age of 18 living in the UK by providing advice and assistance, and organising programmes of physical, educational and other activities including: Theatre in Education (TIE); Workshops; After school, lunchtime & school holiday clubs; Our E-Learning Platform which currently covers 2 of our TIE projects and will continue to be expanded.

The Huntingdon Commemoration Hall Charity's activities are based on the objects of the Charity stated in the original Trust Deed dated 1947 and subsequent Memorandum of Amendment, namely to provide and promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Huntingdon and particularly for those of less financial means facilities for their recreation or welfare.

(I) TO PROMOTE FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF SWINDON AND THE SURROUNDING AREA THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH, AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABLEMENT, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL AND ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES (II) THE PROTECTION AND PRESERVATION OF THE ENVIROMENT FOR PUBLIC BENEFIT

To assist groups and individuals for educational, social , recreational and other charitable purposes within the administrative areas of Blaenau Gwent, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire, Torfaen and Newport, with Monmouthshire County Council being designated as the host Authority

The charity operates in the village of Fairbourne Gwynedd where, through its operating company, Fairbourne Railway Steam Limited, it runs a narrow gauge preserved steam railway, which includes an historical museum. The charity also manages a large recreational area, the majority of which is a Site of Special Scientific Interest. There is free access to all public areas.

Community Sports Club and associated facilities

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Butetown and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, to advance education and to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The objects of the charity in the period under review are, in the interest of social welfare, to improve the conditions of the life of the inhabitants of the area by the provision and maintenance of a community hall and recreation ground.

To promote and support the development of young people and the educational, recreational and other leisure time activities of the residents of Barford and neighbouring communities in the local area of south Warwickshire, by providing a building, facilities and other support (the "Barford Youth & Community Centre")

Promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of Somerset and the surrounding area, the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving the condition of life of the said inhabitants.

To establish a Community Centre and to maintain and manage this Centre for the activities promoted by the Association.To promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Brightlingsea by associating local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation.

The Main Focus of Walker Central FC is to develop and continue to build on the strong relationships within the community to enable people living in the surrounding areas to become part of a local charitable football club. Our Motto has always been "Keep the kids off the streets" and this is what Walker Central FC is all about. We offer a safe haven for children age 4 up to 16.

To provide relief to those in need among Mark Masons, their widows and dependants in the Province of East Lancashire.The Charity helps other organizations who benefit the public by providing services which encompass outdoor activities, specialist rescue services, medical healthcare and support.

PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATIONAL AND LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION, WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.THE ADVANCEMENT OF ARTS/CULTURE, EDUCATION/TRAINING, AND HERITAGE.

Wimbledon Greyhound Welfare exists to care for and find homes for former racing greyhounds.

The Charity has a Licence to provide elderly day care services from a building known as the Westway Centre in Caterham. We are open 5 days a week and pre Covid were providing meals and other activities ( keep fit) plus entertainments. We were also open for Sunday Lunches once a month. Since March 2020 we have been providing outreach services to the most vulnerable locally.

OASIS COMMUNITY HUB: HOBMOOR RUNS HOBMOOR COMMUNITY CENTRE OFFERING ADULT EDUCATION, SUPPORT AND ADVICE, COMMUNITY EMPOWERMENT PROJECTS, ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, HOLIDAY ACTIVITIES AND A YOUTH FOOTBALL CLUB ALONGSIDE OASIS ACADEMY HOBMOOR.

Provide courses on yoga, meditation and the associated philosophy online.

Raising funds to support nominated charities through encouraging individuals to undertake sports based challenges.

The Clubs charity objective is the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in particular by the provision of facilities for gymnastics.
