To promote the wellbeing of all older people and help to make later life fulfilling and an enjoyable experience. We organise and run a lunch club with entertainment and outings. A chiropody service. Wheelchair loan.

The aim of the Tudor Rose Festival is to prepare young people for a public occasion, allowing them the opportunity to perform and present their work to an audience. It also gives them the chance to receive advice from a professional to help build confidence in themselves and prepare them for a possible future in the world of entertainment.

To maintain and operate a village hall and recreation ground for the use of the local community.

PROVIDING SCOUTING AND OUTDOOR ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE AGED FROM 6 - 14 YEARS.

The objects of the society are to disseminate knowledge of sweet peas and other lathyrus species for the public benefit, to encourage, improve and extend the cultivation of these species by means of scientific trials, the holding of exhibitions and displays, by publications and other activities.

Fund raising for nominated charities. Pupil recreational activities.

The main purpose of the charity set up in memory of Ron Pickering OBE, is to give financial support to talented young athletes up to the age of 23 years, to assist with their training and equipment costs and thereby encourage them to continue taking part in sport, reaching their potential, and learning the ethic of fair play.

Community Centre is for the use of the inhabitants of Menai Bridge and the neighbourhood, for meetings, education, recreation and leisure activities

BPEOSA funds support:-1. The International Physical Literacy Association2. The Bedford Physical Education Archive3. Projects to promote lifelong participation in physical activity.

The village hall was completed in 2012 and opened by HRH The Earl of Wessex on 15 October 2012. It is used on a daily basis by all age groups and by various organisations within the parish and surrounding district. There is a wide range of activities available from art, drama, dance and fitness classes to sporting activities and community events. It is also a popular venue for weddings and parties

Provision and maintenance of a village hall for use by residents of Quainton and the surrounding area for recreational, educational, social and community purposes, with the object of maintaining and improving the conditions of their life.

The hall is available, for hire, For various organisations for example Pre-School, Guides, Brownies, Aerobics and for private hire

Conservation of historic bicycles and associated effemera. Education and enlightenment/entertainment of the public. Indirect support of vulnerable individuals.

To provide premises for the use of members of the village and surrounding area of West Hallam.

Kingsley and Newton Village Institute is a charitable community building within the rural village of Kingsley in Cheshire. The Institute has a main hall with bar area, snooker room, bowling green and two tennis courts. Various social activities take place on the premises including line dancing, quiz nights, indoor and outdoor bowls, art classes, snooker and private parties.

A Rural Youth movement for members aged 10-26 years. Members can gain confidence and recognised skills in public speaking, drama and entertainments, sports competitions, stockjudging and cattle showing/presentation, meetings and social events, fundraising. This is a member led organisation.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Linthorpe and neighbourhood by associating the Local Authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the objects of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Letting of Village Hall for Weddings/parties etc. Also sporting activities and recreational activities. Letting of hall for any other events requiring a spacious Village Hall.

THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY IS THE ORGANISATION OF CHARITABLE EVENTS TO RAISE FUNDING TO BE UTILISED FOR THE RELIEF OF THE POOR AND NEEDY AND FOR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE ORGANISATION THROUGH CASH GRANTS OR THE PROVISION OF GOODS AND SERVICES.

Following the Scouting and Guiding Programmes which encompass personal development, learning skills, becoming Good Citizens whilst having fun. Taking Badges in various skills along the way and Camping etc.

Within our local area (Apsley) we provide a community building for many different sectionsof society to use & take part in various activities be it Elderly Persons Social Club, Sport, Education or Recreational.ACA also hold a fortnightly Tea Dance approximately 22/23 per year, other fund raising events may occur

THE CHARITY HAS BEEN FORMED TO DEVELOP AND MAINTAIN THE FACILITIES OF THE VILLAGE CENTRE HALL FOR THE BENEFIT OF ALL LOCAL COMMUNITY GROUPS FROM ALL AGES AND BACKGROUNDS - THESE INCLUDE PRE-SCHOOL GROUPS, GIRL GUIDES AND SIMILAR GROUPS, EDUCATIONAL, PHYSICAL, KEEP FIT AND WEIGHT LOSS GROUPS, SKILLS DEVELOPMENT GROUPS, THEATRE, HEALTH CLINICS ETC.

The Village Hall provides facilities for recreation and education for all people of the area.

To provide & maintain a Village HallThe building is suitable for all ages, it acts as a meeting place for local clubs and other activities which include sports, recreation, arts & culture.
