Leisure Charities

The charity owns & maintains the community hall and makes it available to locally-led user groups (kids club, judo, darts, youth, bingo) plus hiring out to other organisations including local authorities. We are purely funded by grants that we apply for and our own fund-raising activities.

THE VILLAGE HALL HAS FACILITIES FOR MEETINGS [120 CAPACITY] ENTERTAINMENT EVENTS, SUCH AS DANCES; SHOWS; WEDDINGS AND PARTIES. A SKITTLE ALLEY IS ALSO AVAILABLE. THERE IS A KITCHEN, SERVERY AND STAGE

Provision of Youth Club facilities for young people in the Borough of Broxbourne and the town of Hoddesdon

THE MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF STRATTON, DORSET, WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITICAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE INHABITANTS.

The Crossgates Community Centre is available for the community to hire for a variety of activities. The hall comprises of a sports hall, smaller meeting/conference room and kitchen. Regular users hire the hall for weekly craft activities, bowling, badminton, keep fit and youth groups, but it is also available for hire for parties/celebrations and table top sales.

We are a youth and children's football club that provides football management and coaching to boys and girls from 6 to 16 years old, along with "Little Kickers" under 6 engagement sessions. The children then participate in matches at the weekend representing the club.We also have various sporting activities that utilise the facilities in the evenings.

The charity provides our community with a pleasant and safe facility for their use for meetings and a range of social functions, such as Keep Fit, WI and a Local History Group. We fundraise by hosting events (for example: a monthly quiz/supper and an annual Duck Race and Fayre). All of which enrich the social activities of our community.

Creating sport and leisure facilities for Scole and surrounding area.

The Beck Community Centre provides a facility for multiple user groups of all ages in the South East area of Kendal , where no other such facility exists. These include Groups for babies, childminders,uniformed groups, senior citizens, Church, modern dance,ballet, keep fit , groups with disabilities,U3A groups, coffee mornings, charity fundraisers and the capacity for hire by local residents

Providing a playing field for both organised & recreational sport. A hall for meetings & other activities (ie Playgroup,WI,Bridge etc). All maintained by volunteers clipping, mowing & cleaning.

To promote to the benefit of the inhabitants of Clearbrook, Devon and the surrounding area, without the distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions - by associating the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education, to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure.

To maintain the village hall and to provide educational recreational and leisure facilities for the local community.

To improve the conditions of life of the inhabitants of Halsall without distinction of political, religious or other opinions by the provision and maintenance of:(a) a village hall for use by the inhabintants, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation(b) a recreation ground for use by the inhabitants

THE CHICHESTER HALL, WITLEY, SURREY IS THERE TO ENHANCE THE COMMUNITY LIFE OF THE INHABITANTS OF WITLEY AND SURROUNDING AREAS BY PROVIDING A VENUE FOR THEIR GENERAL PHYSICAL AND MENTAL RECREATION AND FOR THEIR SOCIAL, MORAL AND INTELLECTUAL DEVELOPMENT. THE PRINCIPAL ACTIVITY BEING THE PROVISION OF A VILLAGE HALL WHICH IS AVAILABLE FOR HIRE.

Use of hall facilities (including bar) by local sports clubs and other community groups and charities.

The Memorial Village Hall is used by all local groups such as the, Skittles teams, Bowls Club, Church, Private parties and is a Polling Station. It is in the centre of village and is the designated Emergency Shelter. There are disabled facilities which include a ramp and a toilet. There are also baby changing facilities.

The charity objectives are the continued development of a community center, namely Jasmyn House in Paignton, providing the relief, recreation, instruction for the general welfare of the disabled and handicapped in the Borough of Torbay within the County of Devon. Developing the establishment and promotion of the community center, with all the necessary facilities for the disabled and handicapped.

A) TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF YOUNG MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC IN AGRICULTURE, HOME CRAFTS, COUNTRY LIFE AND RELATED SUBJECTS. AND B) IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE TO PROVIDE AND PROMOTE THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND LEISURE.

Scouting, including camps, trips & outings to local museums etc. & sports events within the group & in the district

Provides facilities in which: local and external recreational and educational groups can meet and fund raising events can be held.

Providing donations and grants to humanitarian and sporting charities. Grants in favour of older and younger people.

Education and recreation for the benefit of the residents of the Parish of Pattishall.

Providing educational,recreational and sporting activities to the residents of Waterford and surrounding area.

We provide young men and women (aged 10 to 18) with opportunities to participate in a wide variety of activities aimed at increasing fitness, team skills and building character, using the Roayl Navy as a model.
