Leisure Charities

We are a Christian counselling, training and resource centre. We offer counselling to anyone over 16 years of age regardless of their faith, on a financial donation basis depending on income. No one is turned away due to inability to pay. We run Christian counselling training courses up to Diploma level 4. We have conference and sports hall facilities for hire by the community.

The charity's activities are to advance the Christian religion and to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities with the object of improving their conditions of life in the Haxby & Wigginton area of North Yorkshire by operating a Christian cafe.

Provide support for families caring for disabled children and young people.Provide social and leisure activities for these families.Work with local businesses and organisation to ensure fully inclusive access.Building a network of families, a community hub so families can access information and mutual support from one another.

The organising of football activities within the RAF. This includes organising football leagues, cup competitions, coaching courses, referee courses for all genders. Governance in line with FA and RAF FA Sports Board regulations.

Childcare pre school play group. Mother and Toddlers group. Holiday playscheme. Youthclub. Herons junior football club. Adult football Club. Tennis club. Snooker club. Keep fit.

The church holds Christian services, mid week meetings and home groups. There are both a men's and women's ministry and bible studies. The Church runs a toddler group, youth groups for primary and secondary school children, and 18 -20's. Also lunch time gatherings, Sunday meetings for folk with learning difficulties, an art group,organised rambles and a weekly football games. All are welcome.

The Charity has the general aim of contributing to the quality of life of local people and organisations by providing facilities for recreation and leisure time activities. The facilities are provided in the interest of social welfare and are available for anyone needing them. By hiring facilities to business users, the Charity is able to offer facilities at a reduced cost to community groups.

To assist the elderly to live independently at home. Advocacy, Advice, Access to a solicitor, Drop-in sessions, Gardening service, Lunch Clubs, Bingo Clubs, Community Tea Bar, Men's Group, Craft Group, Newsletters, Sign posting, Volunteering opportunities, Friendship Group, Singing Group, Memory Cafe, Carers Group.

The promotion of participation by persons in the United Kingdom (both able-bodied and with any form of disability and of all ages) in healthy recreation in horse riding through education and in providing advice to riding schools and livery yards in respect of regulation, welfare and safety issues.

We pursue Kurdish women empowerment in London and in Kurdish regions by means of:a) seminars to raise awareness of their own rights,b) language courses and other training to enhance their employability, c) provision of facilities for community recreation,d) psychological support and legal advice for victims of domestic violence and forced marriage.e) training of women's activists.

4 All Foundation is a charitable organisation delivering local and accessible opportunities throughout our communities in Shropshire. Our activities are varied that include sporting, arts & crafts, environmental and educational.

We are a small community centre based in the heart of Catford. Our aim is to provide the community a safe and welcoming place where people can participate in healthy activities such as sports, gardening and eating homemade healthy food. We have a beautiful volunteer lead community garden where we grow our own produce for people to enjoy our homecooked food.

The Charity raises income through various charitable activities, such as hiring rooms to all the community. The Summit Centre also has sporting activities with a fitness suite, and multi use games area.

Brightlingsea Lido is an historic outdoor swimming pool providing seasonal recreational facilities to the people of Brightlingsea, the surrounding area and to the general public.

For the benefit of young people in Leeds and the surrounding areas - to advance education, provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving their conditions of life.

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIALWELFARE FOR THE RECREATION AND OTHER LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION OFINDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR YOUTH,AGE INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCESWITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

The charity exists to promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities and opportunities for the playing of amateur sport, in particular but not limited to rugby union football in the City of Birmingham and Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council areas.

The support of Bancroft's School through the provision of money and resources, and the encouragement of scholastic, sporting or other achievements by the pupils of the School through the provision of prizes and scholarships.
