To facilitate and organise social, educational, recreational and sporting activities for the local community - eg art and craft groups, table tennis, carpet bowls, taekwondo, Pilates, yoga, keep fit classes, quiz nights, musical concerts and social events.

Sandford Parish Hall is a large hall situated in Mid Devon. The Hall is used regularly by Playgroup, Toddlers, WI, Good Companions and Brownies. Other users are Creedy Dramatic Society, Sandford School, Sandford Scout Organisation. There are also vaious classes held on a weekly basis in the Hall, these include dancing and yoga classes.

Hindu religious activities are going on regularly. People are using centre for meditation and evening prayers. Yoga classes are held once a week. Hindi language classes are being held. Pleasure coach trips are also being organised. We have started dance classes once a week.

Provision of a community centre to provide facilities for social, educational, cultural and recreational activities for the benefit of the people of Willington and the surrounding areas.

The trust's activities include the provision of recreational facilities and the provision of a community center to serve as a focal point for the community in the North West of England. Scotter playing fields provide space for the recreational activities of residents of the parish, the local primary school and pre-school group together with changing and sports facilities for football, tennis and flat green bowling for local sports clubs in the area at both junior and senior level.

School trips, swimming, book fair, school uniform, school photos and charity collections in order to support the whole school community.

We provide buildings and facilities for use in : Community activities- Arts / Culture - Sports and Recreation used by the total Community covering all age groups.

THE CHARITY PROVIDES PREMISES AND GROUNDS IN A SUITABLE STATE OF REPAIR FOR USE BY THOSE WHO LIVE IN THE AREA OF BENEFIT (CWMDARE AND SURROUNDING AREA).

Cadets have taken part in Drill, Sailing, Pulling (rowing), Power and Canoeing Competitions. Football, Adventure Training Expeditions, .22 Shooting. Courses offered to cadets are Seamanship, Mechanical Engineering, Cook Stewards, Writer Stores.Help in the community - collecting for the Poppy Appeal, raising funds for the unit.

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF MOSTON AND NEIGHBOURING DISTRICTS BY ASSOCIATING WITH THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORGANISATIONS AND INHABITANTS TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND TO PROVIDE FACILITIES FOR RECREATION AND WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

MAINTENANCE OF LOCAL VILLAGE HALL WHICH IS USED FOR LOCAL FUNCTIONS AND GROUP ACTIVITIES I.E. WOMENS INSTITUTE, NCT, SPORTS GROUPS, MUSIC & ART GROUPS ETC. EVENTS ARE ORGANISED THROUGHOUT THE YEAR TO FUND THIS.

Makes grants towards the provision and support of facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation by the inhabitants of the Parish of Aston-cum-Aughton, Rotherham; and for other charitable purposes for the general benefit of said inhabitants.

The charity provides a wide variety of services and activities:- Social events and educational courses. Sporting and leisure pursuits. Healthy lifestyle initiatives. Community garden. Scout Group of about 60 boys and girls, all scouting activities and camping. Fund-raising through sponsored events, bonfire and firework display.

We hold summer and Christmas fairs, school discos, film, quiz, treasure hunt & magic show events to raise funds to support the school and children such as outdoor play & sports equipment, IT equipment, books and subsidise residential trips
