HARPENDEN CRICKET CLUB IS A CRICKET CLUB WITH THE OBJECTIVES OF PROVIDING COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN HEALTHY RECREATION BY PROVIDING FACILITIES FOR PLAYING OF CRICKET AND OTHER SPORTS AND TO ADVANCE THE EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE. THE CLUB IS CURRENTLY SOLELY FOCUSED ON CRICKET AND WE CURRENTLY HAVE 9 SENIOR SIDES AND AROUND 300 COLTS PLAYING IN 16 JUNIOR TEAMS.

To promote the benefit of inhabitants of Fratton, without distinction of sex, political, religious or other opinions by associating with local authorities, voluntary organisation and inhabitants in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time occupation therefore improving life conditions of said inhabitants.

Our charitable activities include: daily worship ? lessons in Qur'an and Arabic for children and adults ? interfaith events ? local community events ? research support and resources ? access to various library, literature and cultures ? legal and social analysis ? organisational and logistical support ? meeting space for both religious and community leisure.

To provide or assist with the provision of bursaries, facilities or equipment which support the Royal Hospital School and advance the education of the pupils (including the study of sport, music or other arts).To develop effective relationships between the staff, parents, alumni, friends and others associated with the school.

We promote the benefit of people in the Viables area by organising activities and events to advance education and provide facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation. With partners, these include quiz nights and dances, and groups for gardeners, those with dementia, under 5s, children with special needs, over 55s, keep fit, slimming clubs, sewing classes, war games and martial arts.

The preservation, operation, maintenance and protection of the 1895 sailing trawler Pilgrim of Brixham BM45, which is of historic and maritime importance. Pilgrim is a member of the UK National Historic Fleet.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of the City of Nottingham and the neighbourhood thereof by the advancement of education and the the provision, in the intersts of social welfare and with the object of improving conditions of life, of facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation.

To provide facilities for recreation and leisure in the arts field, specifically theatre, including dance, music and other artistic outlets

The Sheffield Retired Greyhounds organisation operates to take in ex racing greyhounds from the Sheffield area, as we have limited kennel spaces available.

The Trustees intend to make donations or grants to charitable and other organisations for the delivery of exclusively charitable projects aimed at the advancement of education, citizenship or community development and or amateur sport,

The charity seeks to: Advance the Christian religion and religious education. Advance the education of young people by providing facilities for their recreation and leisure time, so that they may grow to maturity as responsible members of society. Promote the preservation of family life by providing education for the general public in accordance with the principles of the Christian faith.

We have continued maintaining and developing the Old Tiffinian Sports Ground at East Molesey for use by Tiffin School and the community, and have made grants to support the School and its students.

The provision and maintenance of a youth centre and facilities for helping and educating boys and girls resident in Pershore and the neighbourhood, through leisure time activities so to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and as members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved.

The charity provides recreational ground and buildings for the people of the area.

The provision of a community centre and a youth centre and other facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions with the object of improving their lives.

The promotion of the efficiency of the Armed Forces of The Crown by the provision and support of Mess, social, sporting and other facilities for the efficiency and wellbeing of servicemen and servicewomen.

Provide gymnastic coaching to children

The promotion of the welfare of the people of Granby/Toxteth and its environs. Improve the conditions of life with respect to the advance of education and provision of facilities for social welfare, health,recreation and leisure.

The trust aims to make soldiering fun. It does this by making a very wide range of grants to units, formations & individuals. These are mainly, but not exclusively, in support of adventurous training or sport not paid for out of public moneys.

TO PROVIDE OR ASSIST IN THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES IN THE INTERESTS OF SOCIAL WELFARE FOR RECREATION OR OTHER LEISURE TIME OCCUPATION OF INDIVIDUALS WHO HAVE NEED OF SUCH FACILITIES BY REASON OF THEIR AGE, INFIRMITY OR DISABILITY, FINANCIAL HARDSHIP OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE.

Provides a camping and adventure centre,both residential and non-residential, for all but in particular for youth groups, young people,families,churches.Users are drawn both locally,nationally and further abroad
