The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Ubley, including use for meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreational and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Owns the land at Banks Park and leases properties on the site. Income is used to maintain the general areas on the site, support the village hall and playing fields at Woodways.

Scouting activities, Scout band, camping activities and weekly meetings. Character development, developing leadership qualities and preparation for the jamboree.

To acquire & hold freehold or leasehold land to be provided in the interests of social welfare for public recreation/open space for the use of members of the public generally with a preference for the inhabitants of the City of Bristol & Clifton Down & part of Avon Gorge for protection/preservation of its ecological features.

Fitness, carpet bowling, dance class, barkway players, ZUMBA, Pilates, karate, parties & other village events.

To hold the Trust Property for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Appledore Parish and to control and manage the Trust Property and arrange for its use as the Committee sees fit.

Provide facilites and support for local activity groups and the local community.

To provide help & assistance of all kinds to the local community. To support other charities at home & abroad to react to natural & man made disasters in UK & abroad. To help the young & old sectors of the community. To assist those with physical & mental health problems in any way possible. To further education, research & the arts. To encourage sport. To help the poor and needy.

Provision of accomodation for community gatherings, including leisure and cultural activities and private events organised by local individuals or organisations

Village hall is a central hub providing a meeting place for sports and social activities to benefit the health and well being of the local and wider community. We offer space for small businesses to meet. The hall is available to hire for gatherings including anniversaries/ celebrations/ weddings. From time to time charitable donations are given to other organisations.

To provide a village hall for the use of individuals and groups located within the Parish of Measham and surrounding area, for the use of meetings, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure activities.

Manage the village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreations and leisure with the object of improving the life of the said inhabitants.

We are a boys & girls club and community centre facilitating after school activites which include : mini and junoior football teams , martial classes,and youth club where young people can meet up and socialise and play table pool ,darts,table tennis ,five aside football and computor games .Our building is also used by the community for meetings ,keep fit classes,sewing groups ,walking groups..

A community hall for the use of inhabitants of Arkendale, Coneythorpe and Clareton and surrounding area, without distinction of political, religious and other opinions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants or for such other charitable purposes

Junior Football Club

Fundraising by running activities for the children and parents at the school and also including the local community. Holding Fairs, Discos, entertainment nights.

We run several events throughout the year. These raise funds for the school and are entertainment for the attendees (usually the children, their parents, teachers, friends and relations)

Activities of a varying nature, Seamanship, Engineering, Band, Swimming, Sailing, Canoeing, Pulling, Meterology, Navigation, Various Sports, Drill and Ceremonial, Catering & Stewarding, Communications and activities all with a Naval theme or background.

Village premises hired to local organisations and societies for recreational and educational use.
