THE PROVISION AND MAINTENANCE OF A VILLAGE HALL FOR THE USE OF THE INHABITANTS OF THE PARISH OF FREMINGTON AND ITS IMMEDIATE VICINITY WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF POLITCAL, RELIGIOUS OR OTHER OPINIONS, INCLUDING USE FOR MEETINGS, LECTURES AND CLASSES, AND FOR OTHER FORMS OF RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION WITH THE OBJECT OF IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS.

Slip End Playing Fields,run by voluntary committee to benefit locals. Large field, tennis courts & football pitch used for various outdoor pursuits. Peter Edwards Hall can be hired separately or in conjunction with the field for social functions and recreational activities. The fields are enjoyed FOC throughout the year. The charity maintains these facilities via private use booking fees.

General fundraising activities with donations made to the Bursary Fund, Sports equipment, Duke of Edinburghs Award equipment, Musical instruments.

Provides premises for hire by local community organisations for recreational and educational purposes. Also available for hire by individuals, e.g. for wedding receptions, by community businesses e.g. slimming groups, and local authorities and similar e.g. in civil emergencies and for meetings and consultations.

Barry Beavers disabled swimming club is a long established organisation offering Halliwick qualified instruction in water techniques to people with varying disabilitites of all agesOur helpers also receive training in techniques for helping disabled swimmers, members also help in the poolThe club is affiliated to The Halliwick organisation which governs swimming clubs for the disabled

Provision of recreational facilities and events in Hope, Hope Valley

Providing sporting opportunities for local people through our resident football teams Ingles FC and Broomleys FC. Developing male and female youth teams in conjunction with our resident teams. Maintaining and developing the football ground and social centre. Providing a indoor leisure and activity space for local residents. Providing Mums and Toddlers group and Playgroup for the Thringstone area.

Provide building facilities and open space for all members of the local community and near villages. Provide sports space for local primary school, youth group and parent & toddler group. Provide nine allotment plots for use by members of the community on annual agreement on first come first served basis.

The Memorial Hall is used for a variety of activities; including weddings, celebration parties, community events, keep fit classes, wakes, polling station.

water Activities:Teaching of power boating,Sailing,Canoeing as well as ordinary scouting activities mainly in the Newark area.

WATER ACTIVITIES

The Charity raises funds from subscriptions, an annual dinner and receives an annual grant from The Lord's Taverners in order to provide scholarships for promising cricketers in financial need, to support coaching programmes for young emerging players, and to support the development of blind cricket

We provide and maintain a village hall for use by the residents of Rushwick Village and its environs. The hall is available to hire by local groups and individuals for private bookings in support of community activities, church services, educational services, charitable fundraising plus leisure and social functions.

Provision of a village hall for the purpose of meetings of local organisations, entertainment and social functions.

Tholthorpe Village Hall provides a central meeting venue for the parish - it is used for educational, sport and recreational activities as well as social occasions and fundraisng events.

For the promotion and advancement of education of the public, through the cultivation and study of the decorative and fine arts

i) To advance the education of the public and in particular the education of older people no longer in full-time gainful employment in Ross-On-Wye and its surrounding locality.ii) The provision of facilities for leisure time and recreational activities with the object of improving the conditions of life for the above persons in the interests of their social welfare.

To provide a venue for recreational, social and educational purposes, and for formal meetings, for the village of Wilby and the surrounding area.

Village Hall available to hire - used mainly by regular groups - This includes:- Young @ Heart Group, Badminton , Short Mat Bowls, Rackheath Players, Band Practice, Line Dancing, Dog Agility, Home Educators and Bird Auction - also available for private hire.

Recreation ground

Our role is to maintain and improve our hall and facilities which provide a village focal point for leisure, cultural and community activities. In addition we provide and support charitable activities in the local community
