Leisure Charities

The charity has a lease on 38 acres of land on the outskirts of Wotton-under-Edge. Detailed planning permission has been granted for the development of a multi-sport/recreational complex on the site. The trustees are seeking funds to meet the projected costs of the proposed development.

To provide and maintain a community building for the local community for leisure and recreation purposes

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the public benefit in Harrogate and surrounding area through the provision of facilities to enable participation in the sport of amateur rugby union football. (For the purposes of this clause facilities means land, buildings, equipment, access to coaching and organising sporting activities).

Thames Sailing Club, provides training and participation in water sports activities, notably sailing and stand up paddleboarding in Surbiton, Surrey.

To provide facilities for the daily care, recreation and education of children during and out of school hours and school holidays and to advance education, promote the preservation and protection of good health, and relieve the effects of poverty amongst residents of Carterton, Oxfordshire and the surrounding area.

The charity provides and maintains facilities for the recreation and leisure-time for the benefit of the inhabitants of Gedling and Maperley Plains. The charity continues to operate an Occupational Licence to the Mapperley Plains Recreation and Social Club Ltd. for the provision of a Members Social Club.

We conduct Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals & ~ over 100 Public Worship Services.We have Sunday School and 'Mums & ToddlerHouse groups met weekly. Mothers Union met. The Pastoral and Bereavement care teams meet on a regular basis.School assemblies for the Primary school & Academy are held in church.We run a 'Messy church' in the local school.We have weekly Gardening, Art & Craft groups

Aldeburgh Jubilee Hall exists as a centre of entertainment for the people of Aldeburgh and its visitors. It hosts theatrical productions, opera, concerts and music of many genres, festivals, conferences, meetings, and community activities,

Off The Ropes aims to improve the physical health of children and adults under mental health services or at risk of being referred to primary or secondary health services in London and Kent. Qualified boxing and health professionals engage with individuals and focus on improving and managing participants mental health symptoms using a fully integrated approach

The objects of the charity are to provide or assist in the provision of facilities in the interest of social welfare for the recreation and leisure time occupation of people with disabilities in Coventry and the surrounding district with the object of improving their quality of life.

The objects of the charity the promotion of community participation in healthy recreation for the residents of Gravesend and surrounding areas by the provision of facilities for the playing of cricket, bowling and tennis.

We offer primarily gymnastics for all and table tennis with summer club offering other activities. Yoga, free running and other activities are also offered.

Management and maintenance of Blackbridge Jubilee Athletics Track, Gloucster and the promotion of the sport of Athletics in Gloucester and surrounding areas

The Association's purpose is to encourage and assist the study of local history throughout Great Britain as an academic discipline and rewarding leisure pursuit for both individuals and groups. The Association also regularly organises visits to places of interest and co-sponsors local history conferences.
