Growing Works vision is to nurture lives to empower vulnerable people to build resilience. We don?t only grow vegetables, we grow people. We run outdoor therapeutic activities for children and adults, volunteers and other members of the community Activities include growing, cooking, eating, drinking, foraging, planting, crafting, bush craft, making and learning.

Cricket Club

The objectives of the club are to educate boys and girls resident in the area of Merthyr Tydfil through their leisure time occupation so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and that their conditions of life may be improved upon.

The Association's objectives are to operate a Community Centre providing affordable space/premises for hire to the local people in pursuance of social welfare for recreation, education and leisure-time well-being in a safe and welcoming environment.

TO PROVIDE SPORTS AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC.

The charity provides facilities for recreation and sports for use by the People of Braintree. This comprises sports fields, hard courts and Gym areas. The Charity currently hosts several local football teams, an armature boxing club and a martial arts club on a regular basis.

Aireborough Supported Activities Scheme provides services to advance the health and wellbeing of children and young people with additional needs and their families and carers in the Aireborough area and Leeds district by the provision of recreational activities and short breaks to improve their quality of life

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities in Rhigos for the playing of amateur rugby union in accord with the rules and regulations of the Welsh Rugby Union and other amateur sports capable of providing healthy recreation.

- Freshley cooked vegitarian meals- Use of indoor exercise machines- Well being sessions like Yoga, Tai-Chi, keep fit etc.- Workshop & lectures on health related subjects.- Day trips to garden centre, shoppings, religious- historic country parks etc.- Gujarati library, computer use.- Sign postings advise.- Day centre access.- Private hiring of premises when building is not in use.

The Wilmslow Half Marathon raises funds by organising an annual half marathon race in the roads around Wilmslow and Mobberley. The event is held at the end of March or beginning of April and has been held since 1984. Usually between 4-5000 competitors enter the event. Any surplus generated by the event is distributed to sports clubs and other organisations in the area.

To advance the religion of Islam, to educate Muslims, to relieve Muslims in need, hardship or distress, to provide leisure facilities, and to promote good community race relations between persons of different racial and faith groups generally and particular between racial groups professing the Muslim faith and all other inhabitants of the Hulton ward and the neighbouring areas

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTS ("THE OBJECTS") ARE TO ADVANCE HEALTHY RECREATION AND PHYSICAL EDUCATION OF CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE UP TO THE AGE OF 18 IN THE HARROGATE AND DISTRICT AREA THROUGH THE PLAYING OF, AND COACHING IN, ASSOCIATION FOOTBALL.

Pendle Women's Forum (PWF) works for the benefit of women and young people from the disadvantaged communities in Pendle. Our main aim is to improve life chances, through the advancement of education and training, preservation and protection of good health, promotion of equality and social inclusion, and the provision of facilities for cultural, social and recreational activities.

We provide day care for frail and elderly from the villages around Over. Food and refreshments are prepared on our premises for our clients whilst they are with us. Bathing and care are provided for clients. Activities and entertainment takes place during the day. We have our own minibus which is used to transport our clients and members of the local community.

All activites are for the benefit of older people living in and around the London Borough of Lewisham and include: community cafe, language learning opportunities, digital inclusion, social activities, keep fit and dance classes, and a place of belonging.

Developing and enhancing potential, skills and talent of youth using the arts, sports, academic support, cultural, environmental education and mentoring for the benefit of families and communities.The programme is focused on advancing skills and experience to standards that bring true enrichment to lives, it has an ethos of practical development, support, advocacy and provision.

The Mytchett Centre is a community association with halls that can be hired, The sports field have two football pitches used throughout the football season, out of season the football fields are used for local events, children, (kick about, rounder, soft ball cricket, )The type of use Play school, sports, weddings, plays, Big Band Nights, Dancing, and a yearly firework night celebration

To provide funds, expertise and resources to help the young people of South Africa develop their potential through an integrated programme of sport, education and development.

Many sporting/leisure facilities are provided for the local community, including football, karate,bowls, snooker,pool, kick boxing, dancing, bingo, and flower arranging, etc. Many local organisations (like , Rugeley Stroke Club and Miners Memorial Society) use the premises, plus the WEA which provides art classes. The Welfare Centre is at the heart of the local community.

The object of the charity was to build a swimming pool for the benefit of the inhabitants of Dartmouth and the surrounding district. The swimming pool has now been built and is owned by the Trust. It is operated by a large charity specialising in the operation of public leisure services. The Trust oversees the operation of the pool.

The aims of the Society will be to promote the sciences of agriculture, arboriculture, horticulture, and the storage, packaging and marketing of fruit. Hold an Annual Fruit Show. To hold and promote public shows, to hold and run and promote open and other competitions in any of the subjects, and to award prizes for merit and excellence. To promote and educate school children and others.

Provide recreational and leisure time activities and support which aims to develop skills, capacities and capabilities to enable young people to participate in society as mature and responsible individuals. The charity will be promoting education and looking for ways to relieve unemployment.

We promote community participation in healthy recreation by providing facilities for playing rugby union football andprovide opportunities for other sport, recreation or other leisure time occupations of such persons in our local area. We run mini, junior, mixed ability and open age rugby teams for both sexes and all age groups, and provide facilities to local schools.

The charity provides recreational activities to develop people in sports and other leisure activities to improve conditions of life. It also develops skills capacities and capabilities using the outdoors, nature, and environmental activities to enable them to participate fully in society.
