Leisure Charities

To promote interest in the cultivation of the Chrysanthemum and horticulture in general in Southport and District by the holding of meetings, lectures, discussions, flower shows and exhibitions and by other means which may from time to time be considered desirable.

Providing a Recreation/Community Hall for Village activities, functions etc

The Stanion Village Hall Association runs the Stanion Village Hall through a Management Committee. The Hall is used by local social and sports organisations on a weekly or monthly basis and is also available for bookings for parties, weddings and other events.The Committee also organises a number of events for local residents including a barn dance, a New Year's eve party and a Christmas Fayre.

Our aims are to offer support to our members with learning disabilities and their families and carers. We also offer leisure and sporting opportunities to our members.

Village Hall providing a venue for Playgroups/toddlers and various user groups such as Yorkshire Countrywomens Association, Gardening Club and Parish Council meeting place etc. We also cater for private events such as children's birthday parties, village quizzes and other entertainment and a yearly memorial for the airmen of the RAF and Canadian airforces lost from our local airfield during WW2.

Provides facilities for local residents including fund raising events etc.

To maintain and improve land and buildings at King George V Playing Fields Sarratt for the benefit of the local community. The facilities provided include football, cricket, tennis and indoor bowls.

The objects of the charity are the furtherance of the charitable purposes of clubs societies or other organisations whose main objects are for the purpose of recreation.charity,educational,social and welfare which operate within the boundaries of the Borough of Pudsey as constituted at 31st March 1974

Rooms are hired for private functions and for regular group activities e.g chess, keep fit, over 60's, slimming world, spanish, Mah Jong, church groups, astronomy, council meetings.

To provide for the inhabitants of Swanland and the neighbourhood, in the interests of social welfare, facilities for the recreation and leisure-time occupation, for the purpose of relaxation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

To provide a recreation area for local sports clubs/teams to participate in sports activities. To provide play equipment for the local children and a venue for community events such as the village carnival, and bonfire.

To provide recreational facilities and community centre for the benefit of the community residing in Hinderclay and the neighbourhood.

TO HELP YOUNG PEOPLE TOWARDS RESPONSIBLE ADULTHOOD BY ENCOURAGING VALUABLE PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND HIGH STANDARDS OF CONDUCT, USING A NAUTICAL THEME BASED ON THE CUSTOMS OF THE ROYAL NAVY. ACTIVITES INCLUDE:SWIMMING,WATER SPORTS,DRILL,EXPEDITION TRAINING,AND MANY MORE.

Promoting the benefits of the inhabitants of Ilkley and neighbourhood by advancing education & facilities for social welfare in recreation and leisure time occupation. Through co-operation with the local statutory authority & other local organisations securing the establishment, maintenance & management of a youth and community centre to further the association's objects.

For the purpose of an open space amenity area and a recreation ground for the use of inhabitants of the Parish of Norton St Philip, Somerset without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for recreation, sport and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

The trustees manage and maintain Privett Village Hall for the benefit of the local community. They organise several events each year which enable villagers to meet socially in this scattered rural area. The hall is also let to a nursery school and provides a venue for other local associations to meet such as the Horticultural Society and regular sporting activities.

THE EXCELLENT FACILITIES ARE USED BY MANY LOCAL ORGANISATIONS PROVIDING DANCING LESSONS, KEEP FIT, YOGA ETC. THE HALL IS ALSO AVAILABLE FOR PRIVATE PARTIES AND SOCIAL EVENTS, QUIZ EVENINGS, CHILDREN'S PARTIES AND OTHER LOCAL EVENTS.

Promotes and advances the aesthetic education of the public, the cultivation and study of the decorative and fine arts and the giving of and to the conservation of our national artistic heritage for the benefit of the public. Member society of the National Association of Decorative and Fine Arts Societies (NADFAS)

Caythorpe & Frieston Playing Field Committee is a management committee for the local playing field . We manage the field, play area and pavilion for Caythorpe & Frieston. We have both junior and senior football and cricket teams and run a series of fundraising events during the year. It is managed and run by volunteers.

Look after ALL aspects of running the Recreation Ground

To provide support and development of young persons through pursuits via weekly meetings and nights away through camping to secure an indepandant and confident approach in activities a young person may never have encountered. Team work is strongly encompassed in many activities and at all times the long established spirit of the scouting association is promoted.

Tivetshall Village Hall is hired out for meetings, functions, private parties, scout groups, sports and fitness clubs, and other similar activities. The trustees operate a pop-up community cafe twice a month.The Village Hall Management Committee and its trustees are responsible for the day-to-day running, maintenance and upkeep of the Hall.
