Leisure Charities

The principal activity is the provision of grants to organisations providing education, training, sport and other activities for young people in the Camberwell area of South London.

The charity provides and maintains a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Lamberhurst without distinction of political,religious or other opinions,including use for meetings,lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Letting of hall for community use

Fylingdales Village Hall Trust serves the needs of the community for local access to social, educational and leisure activities.

We exist to maintain a community facility i.e. a modern purpose built village hall in the parish of Nackington and Lower Hardres. This is available for use by local people and organisations for social events, the provision of entertainment education and exercise. It is also available to people from the wider community who provide such opportunities for people of the parish and surrounding areas.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Merry Oak and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, sexual orientation, race or of political, religious or other opinions, by associating together the said inhabitants and the local authorities, voluntary and other organisations in a common effect to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation an

A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Wimborne St Giles, without distinction of political religious or other opinions including use for meetings lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation. Subject to availability the hall may be hired by individuals and organisations based outside the Parish of Wimborne St Giles.

Chaddesley Corbett Village Hall offers services to residents of the Parish of Chaddesley Corbett and surrounding areas. Clients pay a modest fee for use of a first class meeting venue, with 4 separate rooms available for meetings, keep fit, pilates, slimming, training, amateur dramatics, playschool, guides, WI meetings, Gardening Club, and many others.

The Association provide the Village Hall facilities for the benefits of the inhabitants of the Parish of Toddington without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and other leisure time occupation, with the objective of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

To hold the Village Hall upon trust for the people of Burnham Green for the purposes of recreation, social, moral and intellectual development, entertainment, or other activities decided upon by the committee, for the benetfit of the inhabitants of Burnham Green. Burnham Green is defined as being within half a mile of the crossroads at Burnham Green, Hertfordshire.

The object of the charity is to provide and maintain a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Whitchurch Canonicorum, Morcombelake, Ryall and Shaves Cross. The hall is to be used for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupations, with a view to improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants of the villages.

The fields are used for informal use, organised ameteur football, rugby and a ladies rounders league

The relief of poverty and sickness among the Leuva Patidar community and the advancement of education amongst the children and adults of this community. Also the provision of facilities for recreational activities, in particular for children, the elderly, the disabled and those in poverty with the object of improving their quality of life.

A village hall for the use of inhabitants of Marston and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex, politics, religious or other opinion and in particular for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the condition of life for the said inhabitants.

The provision and maintainance of the village hall in Kelsale Cum Carlton for the use and benefit of the residents of Kelsale Cum Carlton for the use of meetings, lectures and classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life of the inhabitants.

The object of the charity is the provision of a welfare hall and recreational facilities for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions.

The Provision of open space, play equipment and sports facilities for the village and local area

Fivehead Village Hall is a community resource providing indoor and outdoor recreational space for the village and surrounding communities.

The Charity receives investment income from ownership of Rowington Club Limited, Charifund units and interest and makes grants out of that income in accordance with the objects of the Charity within the Parish of Rowington.

The Wallasey G. H. Peers was est 1877. Club membership is male & female from 17 yrs to some in their eighties. There are out-door bowls April/Oct for those unable to play. There are seats in the extensive rose garden for them to watch & enjoy refreshments, snooker (4 tables) is available 12 months, with bridge played Mon-Wed-Fri. Social afternoon, last Fri of every month, with tea & cakes.

Iwade Village Hall provides a meeting place for the residents of Iwade and of the surrounding area.The Hall facilitates community activities such as: Rainbows, Cubs, Beavers, Scouts, Clubs, WI, Nurseries, Dancing, Keep Fit and as a venue for private gatherings, assemblies, presentations etc.This list is not restrictive, neither is the use of the Hall solely limited to the residents of Iwade.

The hall is for the use of the inhabitants of St. Giles-On-The-Heath and the surrounding area, for meetings and leisure activities.

Meets once a week on a wednesday during term time. Youth club activities, craft, sport, music, computors, disco.Times 7.30-9.30pm.

Working with groups and other Charities, the Trustees of Blidworth Recreation Centre provide recreational and social facilities to benefit the inhabitants of the parish of Blidworth and locality without prejudice. The Trustee Body is made up of volunteers by election including members of the affiliated sections (ie football, cricket, Brass Band and bowls sections).

Camping and other outdoor activities, training and education plus suitable games for young people aged 6 to 14
