To advance education and provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the objectives of improving the conditions of life for all those living in the catchment area of the Charity.

The Trust was formed in 1882 covering 28 acres of park land in central Keswick, Cumbria adjoining the river Greta. A new scheme was drawn in 1995 and management of the Parks is now the responsibility of Keswick Town Council as sole trustee.

Kew Community Trust is a registered charity which runs The Avenue Club and The Avenue Halls in Kew. The Avenue Club is a vibrant daytime social and leisure club offering a range of classes, activities and events for those who wish to get the most out of retirement. The Avenue Halls provides a first-class venue and welcomes people of all ages for recreation, classes, meetings and private functions.

We provide gymnastic classes for children and young people, including those with disabilities or special needs. We also provide training for young people wishing to become qualified coaches (British Gymnastics) or judges.

Provide a Christian based conference and outdoor activity centre at an affordable level.

The charity is an educational/recreational project providing services covering environmental and community education/sports and recreation/play and youth work/elderly and special needs

Provision of grants for the benefit of the inhabitants of the civil parish of Sunninghill. Purposes include (in order of priority) relief of poverty, relief of age or sickness, supporting recreational facilities and supporting educational facilities.

To provide a social centre for education and recreation open to all in a friendly, accessible and socially supportive atmosphere.

THE PROVISION OF FACILITIES AND HIGH QUALITY GYMNASTIC COACHING AT ALL LEVELS

The primary objectives of the Foundation are: to promote access to and dissemination of cultural heritage through support of major cultural and educational institutions; to support education and research in the humanities and social sciences; and to support excellence and innovation in the arts.

(1) Advance hindu religion and education and mental and moral improvement in the light of Vedic philosophy and culture. (2) Relieve need due to age, poverty and sickness. (3) Provide facilities for recreation for public benefit and welfare.

MS Research and Relief Fund supports MS groups in Morpeth, Jarrow, Durham, Berwick and Newcastle. We provide complementary therapies which are free of charge to people with MS and their primary carers, in addition we have accessible exercise classes, Tai Chi and a "fitness lounge" where people can use toning tables, MotoMed exercise machines and a vibrogym.

To educate the public generally in respect of science and technology with particular reference to the glass industry. Social, cultural and educational activities are undertaken by the Association and these include: Youth Club, Bowls, Dominoes, Darts, Board Games, Tai chi and Zumba.Supplementary Saturday School. Health Promotional events. Computer classes.Annual Derby Caribbean Carnival. Annual Summer Scheme.Black History month activities. Annual Youth Conference. Annual Christmas dinner.

NPYC's facilities include a multi-purpose sports hall, gym, I.T. room, kitchen, lounge, music room, art room, sensory room & youth hall for activities such as pool, table tennis, and board games. Holiday programmes include flying lessons, go karting, quad biking, driving lessons, jet ski-ing, sky diving, horse riding, scuba diving, cable ski-ing, theatre trips & residential experiences.

We provide the opportunity for adults and young people to go sailing at Farmoor Reservoir near Oxford. We teach sailing to both able and disabled young people.

PWCA is primariliy set up to provide Social Welfare & Education activities within the Parkwood Area. This includes a number of activities such as; Pre-School Nursery, Dancing Classes, Keep Fit, Slimming Classes and a number of internal groups (such as Camera, Organ, Radio enthusiasts groups).

THE BUNSWICK CLUB IS A RECREATIONAL AND SPORTING CLUB FOR YOUNG PEOPLE, MAINLY BETWEEN THE AGES OF 8 AND 19.

1) - To promote all aspects of agriculture, by education, other activities, and in particular by holding an annual agricultural show.2) - To promote the usage and improvements to Aylsham Recreation Ground.3) - Surplus proceeds to be distributed as agreed by the Council, to mainly local charitable causes, and other charitable institutions.

GENERAL COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, INCLUDING PRE-SCHOOL; AFTER SCHOOL CLUBS; ALL DAY CARE FACILITIES, BINGO, KARATE, TAI CHI, BALLROOM, LATIN, DISCO DANCING, BALLET & TAP DANCING, VARIOUS KEEP FIT CLASSES, SLIMMING CLASSES, UNIVERSITY OF THIRD AGE GROUP PLUS MANY MORE.

THE CHARITY RUNS A COMMUNITY CENTRE. A FREE INTERNET CAFE OPEN FROM 10:00 AM - 8:00 PM 7 DAYS A WEEK. ADVICE, GUIDANCE AND EMPLOYMENT SUPPORT ARE AVAILABLE. A RANGE OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITIES FOR RESIDENTS, HALL HIRE, AND TRAINING COURSES RUN DAILY. THE PROBATION HUB OPERATES FROM THE CENTRE TWO DAYS A WEEK. OUR COMMUNITY KITCHEN IS USED TO COOK DONATED FOOD FOR LOCAL PEOPLE WITH FOODBANK VOUCHERS

To promote an interest in all aspects of alpine plants, their cultivation in rock gardens and plant conservation in natural habitats. We are a membership organisation, publish a quarterly Journal for members, operate a seed exchange, make awards available for horticultural study, operate botanical tours for members to see plants in their natural habitats and publish alpine plant information.
