Leisure Charities

To advance the Christian religion amongst deaf persons in the city of Wolverhampton and its surrounding hinterland: To relieve such persons in whatever manner is consistent with Christian principles and maintain facilities for recreation, education and of a social nature for people with all degrees of hearing loss.

Village Hall for hiring for various activities including Social Club, Meetings, Bowls, Keep Fit, Pilates, Childrens Soft Play, Music and Movement, Friday Market, Luncheon Club etc.

Provide facilities for Pre-School playgroup, Church Groups ,Social Dancing Whist ,Brownies, Model Railway Club Jumble sales, parties and Quizzes to raise money for charties

The charity has general charitable purposes supporting individuals of all ages and backgrounds in Education, Sport, Health and Religion. It supports people of all ages and backgrounds and charities working in the UK and Internationally.The Trustees will look carefully at any applications for funding from charities working in the East of England.

A local venue for the residents of the parishes of Burnham Deepdale and Brancaster Staithe to hold club meetings (bridge, camera, carpet bowls, school events, W.I., country dancing etc.) and private meetings (wedding, christening, etc.). The village hall is the only such venue available to parishioners. To supplement the limited income from parishioners the hall is sometimes let out commercially.

We provide a welcoming friendly service with an aim to provide companionship, activities, a hot meal and lively entertainment. Transport can be provided within the Chippenham area.We are open from 10am - 3pm every Thursday.

The provision of recreational and leisure facilities at Cawley Hall, Eye.

To provide recreational facilities for the inhabitants of and visitors to the village of Hawkshead.These currently include a childrens play area with equipment suitable for children in the age range 3 to 12 years old. A full size football pitch with changing facilities. A crown green bowling facility. Two tennis courts. A general play area equipped with picnic benches and tables.

Hold weekly sequence dancing nights, short mat bowls in winter, three different styles of karate, three different probus groups meet at the centre, private hire, keep fit groups, two different styles of line dancing each week.

Provision and maintenance of grounds, equipment and pavilion to facilitate sport and recreation for all age groups within the Village of Garboldisham and environs.

OUR GROUP PROVIDE A MEETING PLACE FOR THE COMMUNITY WHERE HEALTHY LIVING ACTIVITIES TAKE PLACE: KEEP FIT CLASSES, COMMUNITY CHOIR, SLIMMING WORLD CLUB AND MOTHER AND TODDLER GROUP. ROOM/ KITCHEN HIRE IS AVAILABLE; HALL ACCOMMODATES WHEELCHAIR USERS AND PUSHCHAIRS. WE PROVIDE COMMUNITY EVENTS INCLUDING AFTERNOON TEAS, CONCERTS, DEFIBRILLATOR TRAINING, FAIRS, TABLE TOP SALES AND POLLING STATION.

Management of community centre and organising of village activities.

Provision of a range of activities for young people from the age 10 to 18. The Corps is based on the uniform and traditions of the Royal Navy, its aims are to promote naval activities along with developing leadership and communication skills.We currently have 58 cadets on our roll call, along with 25 adult staff.

Physical, spiritual & educational development of young people from the ages of six to 25 years, using activities and skills, including camping and sports.

A centre for the benefit of the inhabitants of Whitland and further afield. Available for meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation; To contribute towards mental and physical health, to improve the quality of the social and cultural life of the community.

We provide buildings, facilities and open spaces for sport, meetings and recreation, for children/young people/general public.

To provide sporting ad recreational activities for local inhabitants of the Forest Town area.

The Hall is used for the benefit of the village. All village associations use the Hall, Youth Club, Scouts, Playtime, Bowls, Art, WI, Zumba, Pilates, Martial Arts, Theatrical Society, Gardening Association, History Society. Parish Council meetings are also held in the Hall, together with National Associations because of the Hall's geographical position.

Provision of a hall in which the inhabitants of Prestwold, Hoton and Cotes can meet for the purposes of social recreation.
