Management of rural village hall providing recreational and educational facilities for the local community

This community charity serves the beneficiaries of Bricklehampton, Elmley Castle and Netherton, by providing a village community hall for the purposes outlined below. The range of activities includes education, wedding receptions, aerobics, arts performances, sports (badminton), meetings of clubs a pre-school and the Parish Council etc..

A variety of community activities including parish council meetings, local societies - amenity, bridge, history for example - leisure classes (pilates, line dancing) toddlers' group, art exhibitions, drama productions and private parties.

Provides human resources, buildings, open space & facilities for many activities eg table tennis, dancing, arts, plays.

Provision of Village Hall and Recreation Ground

Provision of a Village Hall with kitchen and toilet facilities. The hall has a stage and a store room. It is used for a wide variety of community activities including coffee mornings, craft classes, parish council, dog training, informal indoor sports, toddlers group, village markets, village festival. Also private hire functions, such as weddings, parties, meetings, study and school groups.

Fund raising to provide financial support to the educational & pastoral aims of Stratford Primary at Broad Street. The PA has funded external activities which support and reinforce the curriculum, such as Life Skills Programme and Skipping Workshop. Additionally the PA has purchased library and classroom books, ICT equipment and indoor sports equipment.

The Charity exists to educate and inform its' members in a social atmosphere providing leisure and educational activities.

To provide facilities to the Residents of Cornwallis Court to increase their comfort and provide entertainment.

Outings, theatre trips, shopping, holidays, friendship and company.Playing dominos, cards and knitting and reading. We also do jigsaws and quizzes and have entertainment.

Youth organisation for young people using the themes of the Royal Navy. Activities: Adventure training, sailing, boating, power boating, ships visits, canal holidays, drill, seamenship.

Sports and Recreation Facilities

(a) Provision and maintenance of a small village hall for use by the inhabitants for meetings lectures and classes, recreation and leisure time occupations for the benefit of the inhabitants of Highbridge(b) Upkeep and maintenance of garden of remembrance as a memorial to men who gave their lives in World War II

Parents, teachers and friends of Caton St Paul's School raise extra money for school projects and equipment e.g. library books, computers, sports and outdoor equipment. They also contribute by supporting the School Sports Day, the annual Christmas Fair and also by donating money towards children attending outside school activities e.g. Young Voices.

The association operates for the benefit of the residents of the Fiddlewood estate and surrounding neighbourhoods in Norwich. It manages a community centre to provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said residents.

Community work, gaining badges, Camping and outdoor activities.

The Trust Property shall be held upon trust for the purposes of a Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of Byfield and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or of political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for use for meetings, lectures and classes, and recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

For the purposes of promoting the physical & mental recreation, & social, moral & intellectual development for the benefit of the inhabitants of the parish of Ratley.

SEAFORD LIFEGUARDS ARE A VOLUNTARY ORGANISATION WHO PATROL SEAFORD BEACH WEEKENDS AND BANK HOLIDAYS FROM 1ST MAY TO 30TH SEPTEMBER. THEY ALSO MONITOR THE BYELAWS FOR LEWES DISTRICT COUNCIL, INCLUDING SPEEDING BOATS WITHIN THE SWIMMING AREA AND DOG FOULING. THEY ENDEAVOUR TO PREVENT ACCIDENTS BY VIGILANT OBSERVATIONS AND WARNING OF THE DANGERS OF THE SHELVING SEA.

This Parents Association organise events that are fun, improve community relations and provide sociable entertainment for the children and parents alike. At the same time we raise funds for the enhancement of education of all the children at the school, now and in the future.

RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE

DANCE KALEIDOSCOPE DESCRIPTIONFormed 1964. Charity 1977 Reg.No. 516104To give training and performance opportunities to young dancers hoping to work in the entertainment field. The Company members prepare scenery, lighting, costumes, administration for productions. Bi-annual European tours, ballets and musicals. Support to charities.

We provide space and facilities from young to old people for charitable and general purposes. We provide buildings and open space for sporting activities for young, old and disabled.

The village hall provides a venue for activities eg. scouts, OAPs, keep fit, whist drives, parties, short mat bowls etc. & bingo.
