TO ADVANCE IN LIFE & RELIEVE NEEDS OF CHILDREN & YOUNG PEOPLE DISPLACED BY CONFLICT THROUGH:THE PROVISION OF HEALTHY RECREATIONAL ACTIVITIES PROVIDED IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, DESIGNED TO IMPROVE THEIR CONDITIONS OF LIFE & PROVIDING SUPPORT AND ACTIVITIES TO DEVELOP THEIR SKILLS, CAPACITIES & CAPABILITIES TO ENABLE THEM TO PARTICIPATE IN SOCIETY AS MATURE AND RESPONSIBLE INDIVIDUALS.

The Trust owns and manages the 6 houses and 8 flats, housing 22 adult residents, in the Recreation Ground, Shrivenham environs. The object of the Trust is the provision of housing accommodation for beneficiaries, who are persons in need by virtue of disability, financial hardship, sickness or old age, and are former members of the armed forces or the dependants of such persons.

The provision of facilities for recreation, education and other leisure-time occupations for children primarily in Leyland and South Ribble area being facilities:- (a) of which such children have need by reason of their youth or social and economic circumstances, and (b) which will improve the conditions of life for such children by promoting their physical, mental and spiritual well-being

CLM is an independent church in Ormskirk that offers practical expression of the Christian faith for our members through worship services, educational and recreational activities and opportunities for service. We run programmes that aim to meet needs in the local community, offer a space for local community activities and support international Christian development initiatives in other locations.

TO PROVIDE EDUCATIONAL,SPORTING,RECREATIONAL ACITIVITES FOR YOUNG PEOPLE WITHIN THE PARISH OF DISTINGTON

Luncheon club/day centre, youth club and Saturday school providing various educational and recreational activities

Organising fundraising activities such as golf days, raffles, sponsored events and gaining support from charitable and grant giving organisations. Managing the allocation of funds raised to ensure that they are used to benefit the children attending the school. Organising various social functions for children, parents/carers, staff and friends of the school.

The club provides two sport-focussed clubs, one an ABA Boxing Club a valuableresource to the wider community the other an ETTA Table Tennis Club with England rankedplayers. The club also offers its facilities to small businesses which serve residents in the local area.

Tickhill & District Lions Club (CIO) operate in the area covering Tickhill, Rossington, Wadworth, Bawtry, Harworth, Bircotes and Styrrup and provide grants throughout that district to organisations such as Community Groups, Sports Clubs, Local Hospitals and Schools, Scouts and Guides, Food Banks, Air Ambulance, other National and International Charities and generally for people in need.

The centre is used for groups and organisations to hold health and fitness classes, leisure timeoccupation sessions, entertainment and wellbeing activity for people of all ages.

For the public benefit to promote humane behaviour towards animals by providing appropriate care, protection, treatment and security for greyhounds which are in need of care and attention by reason of retirement from the racing industry, sickness, maltreatment, poor circumstances and ill usage, rehoming such greyhounds where possible and educating the public in matters pertaining to responsible do

Helping disadvantaged families and the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure for those in need of such.

It is also hired for private family functions and parties. A wide range of local organisations and individuals hire space in the premises to run their activity.

Providing the public with opportunities to learn Chinese culture by offering knowledge and lessons in the Shaolin Gong Fu martial art.

Our clubs purpose is to encourage and promote all aspects of athletics in Epsom & Ewell for the benefit of the people of the Borough and the surrounding areas and to be inclusive of all ages and abilities to allow all who want to take part to achieve their personal goals from local competition to international excellence.
