The objectives of the Group are as a unit of the Scout Association promoting the development of young people in achieving their full physical , intellectual, social and spiritual potentials, as individuals and as responsible citizens. Activities include arts and crafts, challenges such as orienteering, educational visits, camps, as well as group activities such as parties and family events

To provide and maintain the Village Hall for the people of Thurlaston and surrounding area, to use for meetings, social activities, educational and recreational classes

We are providing school activities for primary school children, and the attached school run nursery. Sports equipment, books and educational items.

School activities - drama, games, sport, exercise. Entertainment in support of village hall and Naburn Village Community, summer gala, Christmas bazaar, hired for parties and dances.

Provision of open space for informal recreation.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the parish of Corston without distinction of political, religious or other opinions, including use for meetings, lectures and classes, and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Assisting in the area of Plymouth Naval Command, in cases of need, persons serving or having served as members of the Royal Navy, Royal Marines, Nursing, Womens Services, Reserves or Auxilliary services or being dependent spouse, widow or widower and to Promote the efficiency of the Royal Navy and Royal Marines by providing recreational facilities and amenities.

Provides buildings and facilities for sport and general recreation purposes.

Raffles, bingo & beetle drives for children. Christmas fayre evening with stalls and events. Fun day-sporting events & stalls. Disco's for children. Recycle clothes for cash.

The aim of the Oxfordshire Playing Fields Association is to enable the community-based provision of good quality and accessible playing fields, playgrounds and other suitable outdoor spaces and facilities, in order to facilitate opportunities for people of all ages and abilities, especially children and young people, to participate in outdoor sport, play and physical recreation activities.

We help to maintain our Village Hall for the use of the whole community. We endeavour to provide social, educational and leisure activities that appeal to as many of our community as possible.

Seeks to enhance and preserve the history and surroundings of the township of Rainhill. Monitors planning applications. Also organises an annual gardening competition, and holds a programme of meetings throughout the winter season, open to all. New activities include an oral history project with sound recordings made by local people .Community-wide commemoration of local involvement in WW1

We are a community centre based between West End and Townhill Park, regular users are various keep fitness classes, home schooling, dance classes, dog training. Also hired for private parties.

Provides the only meeting place in Cransley for the local community. Available for hire to various organisations including keep fit, yoga, bowls, upholstery classes. Holds events regularly which provide entertainment for the village as well as fundraising - barn dances, concerts, annual horticultural show, annual fete, annual Christmas craft fair.

A variety of Fundraising events or Beaucroft School - yearly events include Christmas Fayre, BBQ and Bingo and some one off events in previous years including Golf Day, Fashion Show etc

The charity will organise; Whistdrives, Dances, Coffee mornings. Provides equipment for Darts, Badminton. Skittles. The hall is used for Dog Training, Badminton by 2 clubs, Zumba classes, U3A clubs, also Election Polling station.Meetings of various local organisations for both recreation and business, as well as by the villagers for parties and family events.
