The charity invested the monies from the sale of the Church House Inn, Holne in 2018. The income from the investment is exclusively used for the upkeep and maintenance of the Church of St Mary the Virgin, Holne. The charity also holds the Playpark, Holne in trust for the recreation and enjoyment by the community.

Providing and managing a recreation ground for the benefit of residents of the parish of Wigginton in the City of York

Musical education & recreation. Fundraising support to other charitable bodies via concerts etc.

Talks, musical evenings, dances, quiz nights, yoga, local arts & crafts, carol concert, walks, parties, BBQ, parish council meetings, educational topics. In addition the halls facilities are available for hire, or are provided free for charitable events such as Macmillan Cancer Relief.

The Sheldwich Village Hall, and its immediate surroundings, are maintained and administered by the Tustees for the benefit of all in the immediate and surrounding community. Its facilitates the use of the hall by groups from local clubs, other organisations and individuals. These activities include, Meetings, Talks, Fitness Classes and Social Events.

A village hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Stainmore and the neighbourhood without distinction of sex or political, religious or other opinions, and in particular for the use of meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Community Care: Help residents live a full and fulfilling life. Helping them be a part of a community and not face loneliness or isolation. Primarily focusing on the elderly and vulnerable in society we aim to help with mental wellbeing and fitness. We want to actively improve the prospects of the young and give them the tools and volunteering opportunities to lead successful and rewarding lives.

We provide accommodation to hire for education classes, lectures, indoor sports, school trips, changing facilities for concerts, childrens parties, family celebrations, village gatherings & poling station. We also serve home-made afternoon teas to the general public on Sunday afternoons in July, August & September.

The village hall is used, weekly by the primary school, for keep fit classes, art group, WI monthly meetings, yoga classes and monthly for committee meetings and film nights. We have a Christmas market and a flower show and the hall is regularly used by various organisations to hold fund raising events.

The village hall provides a locally situated social centre available to every member of the village for local events, functions and social, recreational and educational activities.

Village Hall hire facilities are provided for the benefit of the residents of Harlaxton. The Hall is also available for commercial hire to organisations providing recreational activities such as exercise and dance classes

Provision of playing field for sports activities and community activities such as carnival week. The hall facilities used for various group meetings, daytime and evening social events.

General hiring of hall for meetingsfor Village organisations : WI, Brownies, Parish Council Meetings, Horticultural Society, Birthday Parties, Jumble Sales, Dances, etc.

Docking allotment for exercise and recreation

The provision of social, leisure and educational activities for people with learning disabilities and their parents or other carers.To work with people with learning disabilities to help them to have as independent a life as possible in accordance with their wishes.To increase public knowledge of the problems faced by people with learning disabilities and their families.

Sports and meeting room facilities

Various fundraising activities e.g. coffee mornings, fun day, raffles, 49 club, skittles evening, sponsored swim. Money raised is used for buying school supplies and supporting school events e.g. trips, funding the school swimming pool, etc

Provides Scouting activities for young people from the ages of 6 to 15 in the Hillmorton and Clifton areas.

Provision of the hall to local groups and individuals. Users include the local history society, welfare and fitness groups and local families for birthday and anniversary parties.

SPORTS FACILITIES
