NCEL operates various initiatives and projects to better the lives of disadvantaged people living within Stobhill and throughout South East Northumberland. Our services are open to all age ranges and run from our Stobhill Link Community Hub. We offer volunteer opportunities and address local issues such as health and wellbeing, unemployment, skills building, horticulture and social inclusion.

Swimming for young people

Pilgrims FC provides football and social facilities for children and adults in Ashford (Kent) and the surrounding area.

The charity's objects are to provide the necessary facilities for daily care, recreation and education of children during out of hours and school holidays and to advance the education and training of staff in the provision of these facilities.

We provide group activities for older people (55 years of age upwards). These range from lunch clubs, tap dance, line dance and exercise classes through to shopping trips and outings

We will carry out our charitable objectives by;- providing social and recreational activities involving the local community;-providing job search skills workshops, life skills training and vocational training in photography skills;-providing activities that promote the history, culture of people of African & Caribbean descent living in the Merseyside area.-Improving mental/physical health

Organising local fund raising activities for the purpose of making grants to sports and social entities in the area.

The charity was established to advance the education and welfare of the pupils of Grey Court School and young people within the wider community by assisting in the provision of educational and recreational facilities and experiences to augment and complement such facilities financed by the local education authority or the Department for Education (DfE).

The provision of, or assisting in the provision of facilities and equipment for therapy, education, and recreation at the Space Centre in Preston

We are a bowling club which provides for the community a service for all ages, the service being bowling and leisure facilities.

The promotion of military efficiency by the provision and support of social, sporting and other facilities for the efficiency and well-being of Officers. This also extends to making grants to any activity which in the opinion of the Trustee is in furtherance of the Charity.

TO PROVIDE HEALTH-RELATED INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT TO RELIEVE SICKNESS, INFIRMITY AND LONELINESS AMONG PATIENTS IN HOSPITALS, DOCTORS' WAITING ROOMS, CARE HOMES AND OTHER INSTITUTIONS ADMINISTERED BY THE CLINICAL COMMISSIONING GROUP OF WEST LEICESTERSHIRE, BY PROVIDING A LOCAL RADIO BROADCASTING SERVICE TO THOSE INSTITUTIONS AND THE WIDER COMMUNITY.

We maintain a Community Centre for the use of local residents - bingo, coffee mornings, exercise groups, Brownies, toddlers' groups, talks, social get-togethers, showers for footballers, etc. The hall is a popular venue for children's parties and general celebrations.

The LTS organises numerous activities and facilitates courses to integrate into British way of life and enhancing community cohesion. Advisory and physical activities through Community Prescription (CCG-NHS), English tuition for Adults, Asian Dress making course, Keep Fit exercise course, Tamil Language school, Elders Luncheon Club, library and Warm Centre for vulnerable adults in the community.

The relief of illness and suffering of all disabled persons resident in a defined local area of Tynedale and beyond by providing, managing and maintaining a Centre for recreation or other leisure time occupation and in particular by providing facilities for competitive and non- competitive sports.

Educational and recreational activities aimed at improving the physical, mental and social welfare of people no longer in full time employment in the Alsager and surrounding district.

Community Hall providing full access for local groups and organisations for social , educational, theatrical and sport activities .

1.To provide after school religious education to children aged 5-16 of the Muslim community in Liverpool,teach them civic manners and provide them with sports facilities in order for them to become useful citizens of UK

Operating as a rowing club, providing opportunities and the provision of boats and equipment and organisation for the sport of rowing and related activities for the inhabitants, members and others, of Norwich and its environs. The club operates from Whitlingham Boathouses, Norwich, is affiliated to British Rowing. Members row for competition and recreation.
