Leisure Charities

Based in Queensbury, Bradford, QCP offers a diverse range of social and educational opportunities to members of the local community and surrounding areas. Activities such as Walking Groups, Art, Creative Crafts, Jewellery, Guitar, Languages and Exercise classes are on offer. Also facilitating Well Being Cafes and luncheons for those who are isolated and lonely and have mental health issues.

JABADAO works in partnership with education, health and social care sectors to create opportunities for young children and their adults to get involved in playful physical activities that promote learning, health and wellbeing.

Members from Polesworth and District play darts, dominoes and pool in local leagues.The cricket section runs Under 8 to Under 15 Junior sides and four senior sides,Dothill Rovers and Polesworth Swifts Junior FC's , North Warwicks and Tamworth Ladies FC all use the facilities. Quiz Nights, Barbecues, discos,parties and wedding receptions take place and live football and rugby is screened.

We are a self-help organisation for people no longer in full time employment providing educational, creative and leisure opportunities in a friendly social environment. We draw on the skills, knowledge and experience of our members to provide interest groups in accordance with the wishes of our members.

To provide or assist in the provision of facilities and events for recreation, rehabilitation, sport and leisure time occupation, in particular but not exclusively by the provision of facilities and opportunities for swimming for people with disabilities and their families, in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving their condition.

The Club aims to provide or assist the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation or other leisure time occupation, in particular facilities for playing football, of children and young people under the age of 21, with the object of improving their conditions of life, within a safe, disciplined and friendly environment for all members.

To promote the benefit of the inhabitants of Aylesford Parish without distinction of sex or of political religious ethnic or other opinions by the advancement of education and the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare and in particular for use for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

The charity operates in Edmonton and surrounding areas of North London.Organising social events, conferences, and educational programs for the local Turkish community.Organising social & sportive activities for the youth.Promoting good values for the youth in the fight against crime & drugsPromoting peace and understanding across communities and ethnic backgrounds in the UK.

Weekly Sunday morning Church, communion, prayer, Bible study and Spiritual Formation groups. Children's and Youth Clubs. Over 65 clubs and events. Knit and Natter Group. Baby and Toddler Group; Luncheon Club; ESOL group; Children's and Youth Clubs; other social and fitness clubs.Rents out rooms to individuals and organisations for a range of activities.

OUTDOOR SPORTS.

The principal activity of the charity will aim to raise funds from an annual golf day and related events, including sponsorship and donations. These funds will then be used to provide relief to children and young people, within the area of Dorset and surrounding counties, who are suffering from physical or learning disabilities, in line with the Charity's objective.

For the purposes of a community hall and sports centre for the use of the people of St. Buryan and the surrounding area of Cornwall without distinction of political, religious or other opinions. Including use for meetings classes, reading room, sporting activities and for social and recreational activities, also to raise money for other local charities.

The main activity of the association is the running and operation of a range of interests for the benefit of the members. These include activities of a social, educational, recreational and spiritual nature.

Provision of charitable social housing accomodation for poor people resident in Borough of Rugby

The Charity aims to assist members of the local community (people of all ages and backgrounds) in Bradford to get fit and stay healthy through boxing, fitness, exercise, and healthy eating. We also aim to engage people from marginalised communities and the hardest to reach to provide a platform for focus, stability, well-being, and progress and the means/resources to maintain these aspirations.

Harton & Westoe Miners Welfare seeks to promote the well being of all people and help make life a fullfilling and enjoyable experience.The Sports and Recreational facility comprises of one floodlit pitch, cricket square, two 5-a-side outdoor floodlit pitches, crown bowling green,cricket nets, gymnasium, pool room, bar and function room.

The purpose of the Trust is to maintain and restore parts of this Grade II listed Church (including the famous Venetian mosaics) which was largely destroyed by a flying bomb in July 1944. The additional aim of the Trust is to organise regular services at the Church, which remains consecrated ground, and also a variety of events, Open Air Theatre, concerts, and private parties, receptions etc.
