Leisure Charities

A subsidiary of the Three Rivers Partnership, Dorset , the Trust was established to manage development construction of the RiversMeet Centre (opened in August 2010) and thereafter to manage the facilities to promote public benefit of community participation in healthy recreation and such other lawful charitable purposes for the public benefit.

The park is to held on trust forever ''as an open public grounds and gardens for the resort and recreation of adults and playgrounds for children.''

EHSU exists to represent Edge Hill University students effectively as well as provide cultural, social and sporting opportunities to help our students develop personal and life skills.

To provide support and facilities for Deaf Persons in Cambridgeshire through social, advisory and recreational projects to assist them to be part of the whole community.

Chorley Youth Zones objects are to help and educate children and young people resident in Chorley and surrounding areas through their leisure time activities by promoting their full physical and spiritual potential in order that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society and their conditions of life may improve.

The Trust's mission is to release and empower people to develop their individual strengths. The Trust specialises in the development of young people with emphasis on experiential learning through the use of outdoor activities. A key focus is to indentify and develop interventions that benefit disaffected and vunerable young people.

Amaze is a charity that offers information, advice and support to parent carers of children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities in Brighton and Sussex. We also work directly with young people up to 25. We support parent carers and young people through the emotional and practical demands of getting the right services in finance, education, health care and leisure.

Bristol Sport Foundation uses a combination of grant funding, donations, fundraising activities and revenue in return for services. By facilitating new partnerships with charities, local and national business, not-for-profit organisations and community groups in order to attract new funding to enhance and expand their work and the work of the group.

The charity provides an organisation to represent the members which promotes co-operation between them for social, cultural and sporting activities; maintaining communication with Harper Adams University; representing its members and fostering good relations within its membership, external bodies and within the community at large.

Bankside Open Spaces Trust aims to bring people together to create inspiring urban green places. It does this by running consultations, bringing together steering groups, holding events, managing major works, looking after gardens, working in partnerships, holding gardening sessions, commenting on plans and strategies, enabling volunteers and providing resources to support balcony gardeners.

Swindon & Gloucestershire Mind provides a Community & Wellbeing programme consisting of; One to one advice, Counselling & Wellbeing Coordination. Activity & social inclusion in the community including Sport, Walking, Connect & Meet, Creative classes& Football. Mental Health Training, Schools programme, Employment Services Support & Swindon Mindful Employers Network & evening Calming cafe model.

Promotion of Polish Culture, education, hIstory, arts, literature, drama. Maintaining Polish Library and Theatre. Maintaining mutli purpose building to provide recreation facilities, offices, restaurant .

Stocksbridge Community Leisure Centre is operated by the Trust for Public Benefit and offers a full range of sporting and leisure activities for the community.The Trust took over the operation of the centre in Summer 2013 following a successful community led campaign to save it, following the closure by Sheffield City Council in May 2013.

An education and environmental charity based on a working upland farm on the outskirts of Sheffield. It exists to nurture, inspire and expand horizons for children and young people. Farming, horticulture and the countryside are used to enhance and underpin existing educational and vocational provision, or to re-engage those who have been excluded from mainstream education.

The Youth Zone's principle activity is the provision of a purpose built, world class 21st century facility for sport and recreation in Oldham for young people aged between 8 and 21 years old. The Youth Zone will deliver a range of high quality universal youth work services, seven days a week, which will be accessed voluntarily by young people on a membership basis.

The promotion of football in the community.

The main activities of the British Olympic Foundation include the promotion and advancement of all aspects of the Olympic Movement through public education in sport, sporting activity and other forms of physical education and recreation.

To provide grants for deserving welfare cases that are within the objects of the Charity.To fund the activities of the serving, reserves and retired members of Royal Corps of Signals, that attract no or only partial funding from the Ministry of Defence, in order to foster effectiveness, morale, teamwork, fitness, professional development, comradeship and esprit de corps.

EBGC is an umbrella youth organisation providing activities, events, training, and support for affiliated clubs and their young people so as to enable them to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capabilities through purposeful leisure time activities so that they can have a positive influence on society.

Sandford Lido Limited is incorporated to provide Sandford Lido in the interest of social welfare with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents and visitors of Gloucestershire and the surrounding areas. Its activities during the period have related to the operation of Sandford Lido to enable people to enjoy Cheltenham's outdoor heated swimming pool.

The object of the charity is the advancement of education by providing training to schools, colleges, community groups and other organisations within the region. In addition to this the provision of recreational or other leisure facilities provides for a more holistic approach to training.

The significant activities of the Club are coaching and competitions.
