To provide facilities for welfare and recreation for local residents.

The Trust was established in 1974 after the 10.6 acres of land was bequeathed to the Town Council from the Estate of Sir Percy Hope OBE.JP. The Trust object is the provision of a pleasure ground and garden for recreation and enjoyment for the inhabitants of, and visitors to, the town of Keswick and neighbourhood.

To provide an educational and recreational resource

To manage and maintain the Long Ashton Community Centre and Recreation Ground, on behalf of the Parish Council, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Long Ashton.

THE ASSOCIATION RUNS ARDLEIGH HOUSE. IT IS AVAILABLE FOR USE BY THE INHABITANTS & THE SURROUNDING AREAS FOR RECREATION & LEISURE TIME ACTIVITIES. THE ACTIVITIES INCLUDE TABLE TENNIS, SHORT MAT BOWLS, YOGA, POTTERY, BALLROOM DANCING, LANGUAGES, AMATEUR DRAMATICS, BIRTHDAY & ANNIVERSARY PARTIES, WEDDING RECEPTIONS ETC. OTHER ORGANISATIONS USE THE VENUE FOR THEIR REGULAR MEETINGS.

To provide a facility (the hall) for social welfare, educational, recreational and leisure time activities with the objective of improving the condition of life for the inhabitants of the local community.

The provision of sporting, social welfare, and educational facilities for residents of Eastwood and the surrounding areas

Provision of leisure, social, recreation and sporting facilities and a village hall for the use and benefit of the residents of Effingham and its immediate neighbourhood.

We offer activities that promote healthy living, the acquisition of life skills, independence and engagement with neighbours. These vary based on the needs and the expressed wishes of our users. Currently we provide: HEALTH, WELL-BEING AND SELF CARE EDUCATION, GARDENING CLUB, ARTS PROJECT, PEER MENTOR VOLUNTEERS, JOINT WORKING INITIATIVES WITH LOCAL PARTNERS, BREAKOUT (School Holiday Activities)

To support people with a learning disability, in particular by the provision of help and advice for them, their families and carers and by campaigning for better services. To provide or assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupation for people with a learning disability so as to improve their lives.

The centre provides facilities for education, training, arts, culture, sport and recreation for people of all ages within the community.

Providing sporting activities from the ages of 6 years upwards. Amateur Boxing, Kick Boxing / Muay Thai, Female Only Boxing, Fitness classes. Charity operates in Westminster, Brent, Camden, Kensington & Chelsea and all London Boroughs. Affiliated with England Boxing and London Youth.

The aim if the Society is to promote the arts. The policy is to provide musical and other entertainment including events for young people, in a historical setting that can be enjoyed by a wide spectrum of residents.The principal activity is to provide an annual festival at Windsor and the neighbouring area in the autumn and a smaller event in the spring.

Provision of leisure time activities and informal education opportunities, and to meet other needs for the residents of our catchment area, in a friendly and welcoming environment.

The charity teaches people to swim, offers life saving, water polo, long distance and open water swimming, and competition swimming to national standard. Dover Lifeguard Club is an accredited swim 21 club.

ENCOURAGE SPECIFIC RECREATIONAL GROUPS BY OFFERING 'SECTION' MEMBERSHIP.ORGANISE EVENTS FOR THE ENJOYMENT OF THE LOCAL COMMUNITY WHICH ALSO PROVIDES ADDITIONAL INCOME TOWARDS THE UPKEEP OF THE CENTRE

We are the Cumbria branch of NPTC. National Proficiency Tests Committee. We undertake professional assessments leading to NPTC/City & Guilds qualifications in Agriculture, Horticulture & Plant Machinery Industries.

In general terms, makes grants to organisations connected with the sport of rowing; primarily for the provision of facilities and resources to enable and encourage young persons receiving education or undergoing training in the UK, to row or to scull.

Advice and Guidance, Health and fitness sessions, Job Search, Youth club, Cultural activities, Islamic and Civil Marriages services, ESOL & Arabic GCSE & language classes, IT learning suite, Family mediation, Friday Sermon and prayers, Lectures and awareness, Skills development & Confidence building programmes, Bereavement support, Third party reporting centre, Asylum seekers and refugees Support.

Many sporting/leisure facilities are provided for the local community, including football, karate,bowls, snooker,pool, kick boxing, dancing, bingo, and flower arranging, etc. Many local organisations (like , Rugeley Stroke Club and Miners Memorial Society) use the premises.The Welfare Centre is at the heart of the local community.

Hindu Temple Geeta Bhawan, provides free lunch to Senior Citizens, Teach Hindi, Malayalam Languages, yoga classes and Indian classical Dances. Provide Hindu Religious services, place of worship, cultural activities, Inter faith dialogue, discourses on Vedas and other scriptures. Conduct Civil Marriages, Marriages according to Vedic Rituals and provide priests for Hindu rituals.
