Leisure Charities

We deliver activities and events around health and social care, leisure and learning, employability, enterprise and vocation, advice and guidance, sports, arts, music and drama, health and wellbeing informed by ongoing user led consultations and evaluations across all age ranges and areas of work. We operate from a Centre base and use outreach locations.

The primary object of the charity is to provide or to assist in the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants of the London Metropolitan Police District and the District of Epping Forest, Essex.

We provide facilities and services that are designed to enhance the physical,mental and social health of people in the Chell Area of Stoke-on-Trent. From statistics,our area shows to be both socially and economically deprived. We provide a low-cost health & fitness suite,a variety of activity classes, recreational and education courses and enjoyable and developmental activities for young people.

The principle activity is providing gymnastic and other physical recreation in the interests of social welfare in Rushmoor and the surrounding area. Other significant activity areas are coaching, competitions and training camps.

Promote the benefits of the inhabitants of Hainault and the neighbourhood by associating with the local authorities, voluntary organisations and inhabitants in common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants.

Working with Secondary Schools and other education providers in Swindon and local parishes to provide activities to engage the youth in those areas.Deliver bespoke 1:1 mentoring programs to vulnerable young people which include sports based activities to help young people develop new skills, gain confidence and improve their mental health.

World Abilitysport focuses on providing sport opportunities for persons with physical impairments in the UK and across the globe. The Games programme host international multi-sport events providing recreational and elite sport opportunities for physically impaired athletes. Through education and training, we promotes barrier-free opportunities and social inclusion through the power of sport.

The Springboard Project works with children and young people with or without disabilities and their families by providing inclusive play and leisure opportunities.

Children's Sailing Trust creates inclusive, accessible and affordable watersports opportunities by removing financial and disability barriers to participation. We use our public recreational, learning and accommodation facilities to develop physical and mental health and wellbeing through sailing, watersports and outdoor activities for all ages and abilities both locally and nationally.

THE CHARITY'S OBJECTIVES ARE TO PROMOTE THE COMMUNITY PARTICIPATION IN AMATEUR SPORTS IN PARTICULAR BY THE PROVISION OF FACILITY FOR THE PLAYING OF FOOTBALL, BY PROVIDING FULLY QUALIFIED AND CRB CLEARED COACHES.

Basingstoke Bluefins aims to promote community participation, to enable swimmers of all ages and abilities to reach their desired potential in swimming and water polo through excellent learning, tailored squad and high performance training sessions and competition in a friendly, sociable environment improving both personal fitness and life skills for Basingstoke and the surrounding area.

To promote racial harmony for the benefit of the public by:(a) Raising awareness of equal opportunities, diversity, and citizenship, in particular but not exclusively through the provision of information, materials, and training.(b) Providing or assisting in the provision of facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation, or other leisure time occupation of individuals.

Abbey Community Centre aims to improve the quality of life for local people by offering excellent services which provide a range of educational, recreational, cultural and social opportunities. We aim to work in consultation and partnership with the local community and statutory and voluntary agencies in developing our programme and responding to emerging need and new initiatives

The charity maintains and manages an arts and community centre for use by all the people living in or near Sands End, Fulham, London. It provides a meeting place, community cafe, facilities for arts, health and well being activities, leisure pursuits and a home for community events.It is run by local trustees who will ensure that everyone is welcome and that the centre is accessible to all

Artistic gymnastics

Establishment of facilities (including but not limited to a community centre) for healthy sports, religious, recreation and leisure-time activities. Advancement of Hindu religion and advancing public's education in Hindu religion, culture and arts as well as in Lohana heritage and culture.

Promoting community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for rowing, sculling and other sports, for such persons who have need of such facilities by reason of their youth, age, infirmity or disablement, poverty or social and economic circumstances or for the public at large in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life.
