Leisure Charities

The Purposes of the Club are to provide facilities for a number of amateur sports (?the Sports?) in Oxshott and to promote the same and encourage community participation in the Sports and the social activity of Bridge.

Our charity offers Home Care services to frail elderly individuals, enabling them to live independently in their own homes. We provide a variety of classes at our centre, including Chinese calligraphy, Chinese medicine workshops, chair yoga, and a table tennis club, fostering personal well-being. We also operate a Saturday Chinese school for children, teaching Mandarin and Cantonese.

FOR ANY CHARITABLE PURPOSES FOR THE BENEFIT OF THE COMMUNITY IN ST MATHEWS IN THE CITY OF LEICESTER, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL (THE AREA OF BENEFIT), AND IN PARTICULAR ANY OTHER CHARITABLE PURPOSES. Open Air Swimming Pool in Portishead open to the public, heated through the summer: April until September, and for winter swimming at weekends. It is staffed, maintained and run by volunteers and paid manager & lifeguards

To promote the physical and mental health of residents of the boroughs of Lewisham and Bromley by providing -A community garden where horticulture is used for therapy and rehabilitation.Opportunities for training for work and educationOpportunities for artistic and creative expressionThe protection and preservation of the environment for the benefit of the public.

Provision of outdoor activities with therapeutic input to assist those struggling with physical and / or mental health issues.

The charity provides inclusive play and leisure activities for children, teenagers and young adults from Oxford and surrounding areas. Disabled and non-disabled children, teenagers and young adults participate in activities together primarily during school holidays. Some activities - dance, youth group and Parasol Plus for young adults - run throughout the year.

The primary aim of Cambridge Sport Lakes Trust is the development of a multi-sport facility on a site on the north side of the City of Cambridge.As part of this development process the Trust also runs a programme of Sports Development Activities within the Community. From 1 April 2008 the Trust also took on the responsibility for managing Milton Country Park.

To provide grants to charities which fall within the following:-The Arts, Social Mobility, Animal Welfare and Sport.

To promote the conservation, protection and enhancement of the physical and natural environment of metropolitan open spaces and public sites in Barnes and surrounding areas including the LNR's of Barnes Common and Leg O'Mutton reservoir and the recreation ground at Vine Road.To promote community engagement along with education for all in the study of the environment, ecology and conservation.

LET'S PLAY ENABLES YOUNG PEOPLE WITH SPECIAL NEEDS OR DISABILITY TO ACCESS LEISURE ACTIVITIES AFTER SCHOOL AND DURING SCHOOL HOLIDAYS BY TRAINING AND PROVIDING PLAY WORKERS IN SUPPORTING A DEDICATED CENTRE WHERE ALL CAN MEET. THE LET'S PLAY PROJECT: A) TRAINS PLAY WORKERS; B) SUPPORTS PARENTS/CARERS; C) WORKS WITH LOCAL VENUES TO ENSURE ACCESS FOR ALL.

The charity's purposes are to benefit the residents of Wigan by bringing together these residents with local authority, voluntary and other organisations in a common effort to advance education and to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the objective of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

The principal objects of the charity in the year under review were to relieve poverty, advance education in St Ann's and Sneinton, Nottingham, to train, educate and promote charitable purposes in the area.Inc: Youth and Community Centres, Sports provision, Creative Programmes, Community Engagement activity, Business Advice and Employment Support

Providing sport for the local community

The South Wye Development Trust (Kindle) generates income through the rent of the Kindle Centre's meeting rooms, office spaces and from use of the facilities within the community business resource centre. Facilities include a large hall/theatre. The Trust's mission is to support the South Wye commuity by facilitating learning, and leisure opportunities using the resources of the Kindle Centre.

City farm in the heart of London's East End, providing a range of educational and recreational activities to give social benefit to our surrounding community.

We provide positive opportunities for young people living on Bemerton Heath estate, Salisbury, encouraging them to tell a different story with their lives. Through sport, mentoring, community projects and social enterprises, we empower young people to redirect their futures. We believe in championing a generation who will help others succeed in years to come.

Provision of sports facilities for community use including those for archery, athletics, bowls, cricket, football, hockey, squash and tennis consistent with the objectives of the Charity. The Charity also owns a Community Interest Company providing social facilities, acting as the umbrella body for non-sporting activities and also to generate revenues for the Charity.

To promote the the provision of sport and other recreation and education facilities for the residents of Anfield and Everton areas of Liverpool in the interests of social welfare.The aim is to improve the lifestyle and activities available to those who may be disadvantaged through age,infirmity,disability or finacial constraints.

The object of the Sergeants' Mess is the promotion of military efficiency by the provision and support of mess, social, sporting and other facilities for the efficiency and well-being of Servicemen and Servicewomen. The objects also extend to making grants to any activity which in the opinion of the trustee is in furtherance of the objectives of the charity.

Work with other charities, schools and non profit organisations to offer tuition at discounted rates, making the sport more widely available. Also deliver Bikeability to schools within the Golden Hillock Sports Partnership
