Leisure Charities

We continue to provide a community hall for the benefit of residents of the area. Many groups use the hall including pre-school, religious, dance, martial arts, cats, dogs, fit club, community kitchen, and Duke of Edinburgh. The hall is used at weekends for private hire parties. We have 4 trustees.

Bingo, Indoor Bowls club, Lunch club, Hall hired for Childrens Parties. Other organisations can hire rooms. Arrange trips for members several times a year.

We offer young people subsidised alpine and scottish winter mountaineering courses & mountain skills courses so they can pursue their love of the outdoors safely.

The village hall provides a community-owned venue for a range of activites for all ages, from tiny tots through to senior citizens.This includes clubs, classes, early education, entertainment, parties and celebrations.

The aims of the Club are: a. to promote the sport of cross-country and road running in the University at all levels; b. to provide competition for those members who desire it.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground for use by the inhabitants of Easton and the surrounding area including use for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure time activity.

Provision and promotion of facilities for recreation and other leisure time occupations to improve the condition of life of rural young people and assist in their development through competitive and social activities, education and training

Kempshott Village Hall is situated in picturesque Stratton Park, Kempshott. It is an ideal meeting place for lots of user groups such as Keep Fit, Toddler Sense, Martial Arts, Women's Institute, Art & Craft Groups, Keep Fit and Inspero Garden Charity, We also have Noah's Ark which is a Pre-School who use part of the hall from Monday - Friday.

The charity operates from the registered office address, in Handsworth, Birmingham for the benefit of the inhabitants of the City of Birmingham and Surrounding areas, particularly those of Sikh origin, to provide facilities in the interests of social welfare for recreation & other leisure time occupation of the beneficiaries and help and educate young beneficiaries through their leisure time etc.

THE HALL IS CURRENTLY USED TO SERVE THE COMMUNITY FOR THE FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES:SHORT MAT BOWLING, YOGA, COFFEE MORNINGS, ART CLUB, BEADWORK CLASSES, YOUNG FARMERS, CRAFTING, MOO MUSIC, BABY & TODDLER GROUP, GARDEN CLUB, FILM NIGHTS.IT IS AVAILABLE FOR MEETINGS, DANCES, FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES & PRIVATE HIRE THE PLAYING FIELD IS USED FOR SPORT, RECREATION AND GENERAL PLAYING AREA FOR CHILDREN

The object of the Charity is to provide a village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Sherborne St John and the neighbourhood, in particular for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants

Fundraising activities for the educational, training, recreational and sporting benefit of the students of Chislehurst & Sidcup Grammar School by providing donations agreed by the PA to the school. It is an organisation run by the members for the members on Anglesey.It provides for all types of training, recreation and leisure time occupations so as to advance their development as confident, self-reliant individuals.

The Stambridge Parish Council as Sole Trustee is the Charity Trustee of the Stambridge Community Centre and also referred to as Stambridge Memorial Hall & Grounds, not individual Councillors.The Management Committee of Stambridge Memorial Hall & Grounds is managed by the Trust Clerk / RFO, appointed Councillors from the Stambridge Parish Council, residents and outside bodies.

Providing learning and support for all young persons aged between 6 and 18 years old.Based in the centre of Barnstaple Town, North Devon, the 1st North Devon Scout Group have continued to run successfully for over 100 years. Some of the exciting activities we do include Kayaking, Climbing, Orienteering, nights away/camping as well as supporting projects in the local community.
