Community centre and sports club

Westminster School educates children from 7 through to 18 and aims widen access as much as possible. It also aims to provide excellence in sporting and extra-curricular activities, notably artistic, musical and social skills. The aim of this charity is to fund scholarships and bursaries for pupils attending the School. This fund is a restricted fund for this purpose.

To promote community participation in healthy recreation by the provision of facilities for taking part in skateboarding, in-line skating, BMX and scooter riding. We are based on the border between Nottinghamshire and Derbyshire and serve both counties.

The provision and the maintenance of the community centre and recreation ground for the use of the inhabitants of Dinnington, and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Our projects offer sports (basketball, boxing and gym sessions), mentoring and music production. In addition we arrange outings away from home areas to expand horizons and raise aspirations.

Activities include: Food for all programme, nutritious take away, Credit Union, Advocacy Support, Job Search, Foodbank, Youthgroup, Pop up Ping Pong Parlour, Community Gardens, intergenerational learning, Dementia Cafe, Activities and free snacks for children and young people during school holidays, community gardening, partnership work with schools and other local groups.

WE PROVIDE FREE:EXERCISE CLASSES, NEUROLOGICAL- PHYSIOTHERAPY, RESPITE CARE, VISITING CARE, PARKINSON'S MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT HUB, OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY, INTEGRATED HEALTH CENTRES,INFORMATION ADVICE AND SUPPORT ON: INTEGRATED AND HOLISTIC THERAPIES, DIET AND NUTRITION. WE ALSO FUND NON PHARMACEUTICAL RESEARCH AND STUDIES.TO IMPROVE PHYSICAL HEALTH AND WELLBEING FOR PEOPLE WITH PARKINSON'S.

The advancement of agriculture, horticulture and rural crafts for the benefit of the public by holding an annual show

The maintenance and operation of a museum at Henley which collects, documents, preserves, exhibits and interprets material evidence and information for the public benefit and education relating to rivers, rowing and Henley-on-Thames. The provision of facilities for research and education, and such other purposes for the benefit of the community as shall be exclusively charitable.

Maintaining Twinberrow Woods as a natural woodland for the recreation of the people

We provide resources and services for the local community of South West Durham. We have a particular focus on children, young people and families and bring together volunteers to enable aspirations to be met. We are based in a venue that provides rooms, accommodation, outdoor activities, music and community transport.

Providing naturist recreational facilities and maintaining ancient woodlands

NEWway Project was set up in 2013 in order to support the rising numbers of homeless people in the London Borough of Newham. Our team works alongside specialist support agencies, local churches and hundreds of local volunteers to provide three core services: NEWdawn - a winter night shelter, NEWday - year round daytime support services, and NEWlife - gardening workshops for local rough sleepers.

The advancement of the arts, horticulture and environmental protection or improvement, particularly but not exclusively by promoting the cultivation and conservation of rare and endangered plant species of the world and the use of sculpture within natural and cultivated landscapes.

Sport & Leisure Activities

To advance the education of children below compulsory school age by providing or assisting in the provision of educational, recreational and other charitable facilities and to advance the education of pupils attending Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School by furthering the charitable purposes of the Heyhouses Endowed Church of England Primary School Fund.
