General social, educational and sport facilities

For hire for recreational activities by people residing in the village and surrounding area.

To provide leisure and learning facilities to all people within the surrounding area. With particular consideration to children and the elderly. To produce amatuer stage production and provide Community services to all volunteer groups and organisations.

Provision and maintenance of a village hall and recreation ground for use by the inhabitants of Hutton Rudby and the surrounding neighbourhood.

Support and assist all members of the Society on all matters relating to their learning, training and professional development and on any other matters which affect them as student members of the Institute;To arrange professional, social and sporting events for members;

To educate boys and girls resident in the area of Mid Rhondda through their leisure time occupation so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacities.

Provides entertainment and indoor sports activities for members and non members. Also hall hire for discussions, meetings, anniversaries etc.

First Duffield Scout Group provides structured recreational/educational scouting based activities for children aged 5-14 in the Duffield area.

sailing, canoeing, hiking, off-shore sailing, off-shore power, mechanical and electrical engineering, 5-a-s football, ceremonial drill, band, Duke of Award Scheme, people skills, leadership.

Practical training of young people between the ages of 6 years to 25 years in dictates of the Scout Association. To include camping,adventurous activities climbing, hiking etc.

1st Lickey Scout Group actively engages and supports young people from Lickey and the surrounding area in their personal development empowering them to make a positive contribution to society. 1st Lickey runs Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts, Scouts, Explorer Scouts for young people from age 6 years to 18 years. Activities include camping, survival skills, outdoor cooking.

Community activities - Charity fundraising events (shows, sales), dance lessons, fitness classes, choirs, pre-school group, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts, young farmers meetings & dinners, annual village show. The hall is rented by villagers for weddings, parties and other private functions.

The 1924 Deed states that the land should remain unbuilt upon and used for the resort and recreation of the inhabitants of the Borough of Hyde. The Trust maintains the Cenotaph on the top of Werneth Low. The 1924 Deed states that a wreath be laid at the Cenotaph on the 25th June each year to commemorate the signing of the Versailles Treaty which ended World War 1.

The Vera Fletcher Hall Association manages a hall for use by a wide variety of cultural and community organisations including concerts and plays, children's activities, talks, meetings and activities such as bridge, art, pilates and yoga.

We are a village hall used by and for the local community

The Charity is part of a national Organisation supporting young people in their development by way of skills and leisure based activities across a broad range to meet diverse interests.

We fundraise to maintain this five acre site with provision of new challenging play equipment. This community play area known locally as Fairhill benefits many people in and around Alston as well as visitors on the moor. Currently we are fund-raising to develop a new pump track cycling facility.

The Charity administers Kewstoke Village Hall for the use of the inhabitants of the Parish of Kewstoke and the neighbourhood without distinction of political, religious or other opions including use for meetings, lectures and classes and for other forms of recreation and leisure time occupations with the object of improving the conditions of life of the same inhabitants.

Provides facilities within a Village Hall for Bishopswood and the surrounding neighbourhood; in particular for the use of meetings, lectures, classes and for other forms of recreation. with the aim of improving the quality of life.

General Sports and Recreation activities for children and all local inhabitants

Owns the freehold of the village hall and adjacent recreation ground in Foxton, Leicestershire.It maintains them for operational use. Provides loans and grants as permitted.

Aviation museum is open to the public three days per week during the summer months and a limited period during winter months.We open outside normal hours by appointment for schools, historic societies, U3A groups. The Museum has an active Aviation Society and speakers are invited to speak on Aviation subjects.

The Trust manages the Memorial Hall (Village Hall) and Community Field (used for sport/recreation) situated in the village of Polesworth
