Our primary objective is to make positive change for our students. We achieve this by representing their views, needs and concerns to the University, the National Union of Students and the Government. We're here to offer advice on a variety of things from academic matters to housing. As well as giving students the opportunities to get involved through our clubs, societies, sports teams and forums.

Criteria; We support projects in areas where Samworth Brothers is an integral & important part of the local community.We support clubs and organisations who promote community participation in healthy physical recreation of particular sports & in the education of healthy nutrition.Our main target group is young people under aged 18 years old from hard to reach and disadvantaged groups.

Providing basketball and other sporting and recreation facilities.

National All Star Skills Academy (NASSA) engages young people in sports to promote positive activities, tackle social issues, and build life skills. Key initiatives include knife crime education through Carry A Basketball Not A Blade, first aid training via the London Air Ambulance project, and coaching qualifications. NASSA partners with schools and community services to support diverse youth.

Supporting people with learning disabilities and/or learning difficulties (LDD) to live happy, independent lives and providing opportunities for them to have their voice heard. Key to this are our specialist advocacy, sport activities and user-led consultation and quality monitoring service offer to empower people with LDD and ensure they can access the same opportunities as everyone else.

Charity organisation runs instructive social, leadership skills training, sports/exercises to strengthen communities, provide opportunities for socially disadvantaged, hard to reach, people through low income, rural, social isolation etc; assists these groups people to find routes back into education, volunteering etc in BMEA communities of Gorton, Manchester UK;.

Relief of people affected by blindness, partial sight or other disabling diseases of the eye.Provision in the interests of social welfare of recreational and educational facilities for such people.

We provide social care and support for people in the Stockport area who are suffering and recovering from a range of mental health problems. We offer a range of social, therapeutic, leisure, volunteering and educational activities that take place both inside the centre and in the wider community.

The charity's principal activities are:- the advancement of education;- to promote social inclusion; and- the promotion of participation in healthy recreation through sport and in particular (but without limitation) the provision of football based activities

To advance the education of children up to the age of 11 in and around Stoke-on-Trent by the provision of a Kindergarten, facilities for activities of a recreational and educational nature out of normal school hours. Supporting the National Curriculum through practical experiences ensuring continuation of children's educational attainment.

We provide activities relating to our four core themes of delivery:Health and Wellbeing, Education and Training, Recreation and Leisure and Support for Employment and Social Enterprise.Activities offered meet the needs of the inhabitants of Seaham and the surrounding area (area of benefit), and cater for those from birth to the elderly.

The objective of the organisation is to organise and suggest primarily sporting, cultural, and artistic after school activities for the students of Marie d'Orliac and Holy Cross School.

BAR & REFRESHMENTS

TO PROMOTE THE BENEFIT OF THE INHABITANTS OF HELE WITHOUT DISTINCTION OF SEX, POLITICS, RELIGION OR OTHER OPINIONS BY ASSOCIATING THE LOCAL AUTHORITIES, VOLUNTARY ORG'S AND INHABITANTS IN A COMMON EFFORT TO ADVANCE EDUCATION AND PROVIDE SUSTAINABLE SERVICES IN THE INTEREST OF SOCIAL WELFARE, RECREATION AND LEISURE-TIME OCCUPATION THUS IMPROVING THE CONDITIONS OF LIFE FOR THE SAID INHABITANTS. .

Disseminating the knowledge which promotes and actualises physical, mental, emotional and spiritual health, balance and well-being; in particular the techniques of Sahaja Yoga meditation and the teachings of Shri Mataji Nirmala Devi. Fostering music, arts and crafts from different cultures. Promoting the idea and practice of tolerant and spiritually-centred living.

TO PROVIDE ACTIVITIES AND SUPPORT IN THE AREAS OF ADULT EDUCATION, SERVICES TO YOUNG PEOPLE, CHILDREN AND THE ELDERLEY FOR THE RESIDENTS OF THE BOROUGH OF WALSALL. TO ENHANCE SOCIAL,RECREATIONAL AND EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR THOSE RESIDENTS.

The provision of recreation and leisure facilities and activities for young people and the community. The provision of social welfare activities and programmes for the benefit of the community.

Providing and supporting social, sporting and adventurous training activities.

Dynamic provides educational, leisure, recreational and social activities for children and young people with disabilities aged between 8 & 25 yrs. This is done through a variety of groups, summer schemes and special schemes.

We provide the opportunity for adults and young people to go sailing at Farmoor Reservoir near Oxford. We teach sailing to both able and disabled young people.

The promotion of welfare and opportunity to children and young people in need of assistance as the trustees in their absolute discretion see fit, either directly or through other charitable bodies.

Lightwaves Community Trust provides the residents of Wakefield with a community-run facility for sport, leisure, social and community activities to advance their well-being, health and prospects and to promote cohesion within the community

Our main activities :youth and community work, play and children's work, health sports and fitness, Youth Cafe, detached youth work. personal and social development for people who are disadvantaged by poverty, disability, health issues, young offenders, members of minority community groups enabling them to develop and make a positive contribution to the community in which they live.,
