Leisure Charities

The objects of the CIO are to establish and run a community hall and recreation facilities to promote for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parishes of Barnham and Eastergate. The provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupation of individuals who have need of such facilities e and with the object of improving the conditions of life of the said inhabitants.

Education and Recreation for the public, Conservation and maintenance of the Park land

To provide at the Centre facilities for recreation, education or other leisure time occupations in the interests of social welfare for residents over the age of 50 years of Ilkley, Addingham, Burley in Wharfedale, Menston and surrounding districts within the Metropolitan District of Bradford without distinction of creed or colour.

Advance in life, and relieve needs of, young people via providing recreational activities in the interests of social welfare, designed to improve conditions of life; Providing support and activities which develop skills, capacities and capabilities to enable participation in society as mature and responsible individuals. The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation and sports.

The Army Cycling Union (ACU) is dedicated to promoting cycling as a means of physical fitness, camaraderie, and mental well-being among soldiers, veterans, and their families. Our activities encompass a diverse range of initiatives designed to inspire, engage, and support our military community through the sport of cycling

The promotion of community participation in healthy recreation in Grimsby and the surrounding area by the provision of facilities for ice sports.

To advance the Christian faith and to relieve persons who are in a condition of need, hardship or distress. To educate and assist young people through their leisure time activities so as to develop their physical, mental and spiritual capacity.To advance education in family life, in marriage and family relationships.

The provision of a repertory theatre in Rugby and the furtherance of education on the history, art and practice of drama.

Assistance to a local residents with further education interests and activities etc, assisting local community village halls in different locations with refurbishment/improvement works, assisting finance for recreational local clubs with repairs to facilities, vouchers to pensioners within a parish, conservation works, assistance to a local Scout and Guide group etc

Eversley Sports Association is a charity based in Eversley, Hampshire that provides and runs sports facilities in Eversley for use by local clubs and the community. The overriding objectives of the ESA are to widen and deepen the access for junior and senior players to cricket, football and hockey, and to provide a high standard of organised competitive sports and skills training.

To foster and promote the community participation in healthy recreation, for the benefit of the inhabitants of Bracknell and the surrounding districts by provision of facilities and coaching for gymnastics.

YOUNG PEOPLE MARCH LTD IS A YOUTH CENTRE IN THE RURAL TOWN OF MARCH, WE PROVIDE A SAFE PLACE FOR YOUNG PEOPLE FROM THE AGES OF 7YRS TO 25YRS TO MEET AND SOCIALISE. WE PROVIDE A FACILITY FOR RECREATION AND OTHER ACTIVITIES SUCH AS CLUBS, DROP IN SESSIONS,LIFE SKILLS, EDUCATION DISCOS,SPORTS, TRAINING, VOLUNTEERING AND MUCH MORE.

Providing activities for children, young people and adults in order to have fun, meet friends, learn new skills, visit new places by participating in sports, arts and crafts, cookery, photography, performing arts, singing, dancing, gardening, games, quizzes, history, heritage, day trips, residentials, engaging with the community and programmes to promote independence and life skills.

Provision of tennis facilities for the purpose of health and education in the community of Wrexham and surrounding areas

We hire rooms for all kinds of uses: Adult Education, U3A, exercise classes, art & theatre classes as well as yoga, karate, pilates, weight watchers, blood donations, childrens activities, parties, wedding receptions etc. We also have monthly and ad hoc dances. weekly markets & monthly Art & Craft Fairs.

To provide affordable sport and recreation facilities to the general public and residents of the town.

Operates a sports centre.

The charity provides the equipment, facilities and personnel to enable disabled, underprivileged people in Bristol and adjoining post code areas, to participate in various forms of water sports and water recreational activities. It also provides the opportunity for the community in general to take part in water sport activity for the purpose of their health and welfare.

The Charities objectives are to maintain and provide a recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Irchester in Northamptonshire.
