Leisure Charities

The charity is a recreation ground provided for informal recreation and some organised sports. There is free access to the open space at all times.

To provide facilities in the interest of social welfare for recreation and leisure time with the objective of improving community cohesion and the condition of life for the residents of Thurgoland and its neighbourhood.

Hire of halls for community use. Religious groups, pre school groups, sporting activities, dance classes and meetings.

We are a village hall, providing a venue for local people, for a variety of events, educational, social and physical, the people who use the hall are of all abilities and ethnic cultures, and range from 0-99 years old.

West Malling Village Hall is located in Norman Road, West Malling, Kent, ME19 6RW. It was established in 1973 for the benefit of local people, groups and organisations in order to provide a facility they could use for recreational activities.

1st New Cross Scout Group take part in a large range of activities, indoor and outdoor; which include hiking, camping, climbing, abseiling, cooking (indoors and outside), craft making, writing, drawing and many more activities.

Provide facilities for the physical and mental training, recreation and social, moral and intellectual development through the medium of reading and recreation rooms, library, lecture classes, recreation and entertainments or otherwise as may be found expedient for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Hampsthwaite.

The provision of community facilities in the village of Blofield. Maintaining the hall and associated land, enusuring that it is in accordance with all relevant legislative requirements including Health and Safety, access for disabled users and entertainment licences.

The charity provides and maintains the village hall for the benefit of the inhabitants of the Parish of Mickleover. This is achieved through the hire of rooms to many varied groups e.g. children's activity group, exercise classes, community groups etc. Additional income is generated by renting out an otherwise unused area at the rear of the premises for a mobile phone base station and mast.

Fund raising to purchase equipment, lay on entertainment and events, and provide "those little extras" for the Residents of James Terry Court, which is an elderly persons' home.

Area of operation - Northwest Bristol and South Gloucestershire.We meet monthly at Shirehampton Golf Club in Bristol.We are a group of men and women over the age of 21, who like to raise money for charitywhilst having fun in doing so, our main fundraiser is a Carol Float with which we tour thestreets in the area.
