CHARITY PROVIDES PREMISES FOR A RANGE OF SOCIAL INTEREST AND ACTIVITY GROUPS ENABLING MEMBERS OF THE COMMUNITY AND NEIGHBOURING COMMUNITIES TO ENJOY RECREATIONAL, EDUCATIONAL AND LEISURE OPPORTUNITIES.

Offers recreational facilities such as snooker and pool and fundraising activities such as raffles and totes. Hires out its facilities for use by its members for private parties etc. The charity also has a bowling green.

A second hall was built in 2007 - access for disabled was improved. Play area been re located to a safer sight. Educational , fitness and hobbies groups provide varied classes for locals, the committee have funds for improvements and accommodation has been virtually doubled. Holcombe is a very popular venue between Exeter and Torbay.

LOCAL MEETING PLACE FOR VILLAGE CLUBS AND SOCIETIES - EG BOWLS CLUB, MOTHER AND TODDLER GROUP, DANCING, PLUS AD HOC COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES, SUCH AS JUMBLE SALES.

The Board of Trustees operates and manages a 10 1/2 acre recreation ground on behalf of the parish of Mary Tavy. Facilities include the Coronation Hall, playing pitches with changing rooms, a children's playground, a nature trail & allotments.

Management of the Village Hall and recreation ground for the benefit of the residents of the Parish and neighbouring areas.

The promotion of ringing for Divine Service, the cultivation of Scientific Change Ringing, the preservation of proper Belfry Conduct and the encouragement of ringers to take part in the Worshipping Life of the Church.

The charity's objective is to provide facilities for leisure & recreational pursuits in the interest of social welfare for elderly persons, with the object of improving their quality of life through our dance, whist, craft & other such sessions which are available all year round. Membership is kept as low as reasonably possible, to be available to everyone, especially those with limited means.

The hall exists to provide leisure, recreational and community facilities for the residents in Essendine and surrounding villages. Activities using the hall include Yoga, Martial Arts,U3A, Mother and Toddler Group, Luncheon Club and Band practices. In addition the hall is used for private functions such as children's parties, wedding receptions and sales.

The Trustees apply the net annual income, and may, if necessary resort to the capital, in making awards to help the children of Old Rugbeians, who are in need of financial assistance, to attend or remain at Rugby School.

A) To advance the education of young members of the public in agriculture, home crafts, country life and related subjects. and B) In the interest of social welfare to provide and promote the provision of facilities for recreation and leisure.

Village Hall & Playing Field for the 2 villages of Clapham & Patching. Providing a community building for recreational activities, committee meetings, weddings, clubs & societies.

MAINTENANCE OF VILLAGE HALL BUILDING AND GROUNDS, AND ORGANISATION OF FUND RAISING ACTIVITIES TO SUSTAIN THE HALL

The charity supports the educational and social development of children at the school through financial and management support for the development of the school environment projects, playgrounds and sporting activities.

The Trust is established for the relief of poverty amongst members and former members of PGA European Tour and others whose main livelihood is or has been earned by providing services to professional golf together with their dependents.

The trust holds the Village Hall for the inhabitants of Colyford and the neighbourhood. It provides use of the facilities for meetings, lectures, classes and other forms of recreation and leisure-time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of life for the residents.

The charity provides + maintains the village hall for the use of the inhabitants of Chilcompton & its neighbourhood. In particular for the use of meetings, lectures, classes & for other forms of recreation & leisure time occupation with the object of improving the conditions of the said inhabitants.

To improve the conditions of boys and girls under the age of 21 and of all other persons by reason of their poverty would otherwise be unable to obtain facilities for recreational or other leisure time occupations.To provide equipment or facilities for recreational, sporting or other leisure time activitiesfor such people.

Lukes Lane Community Association is open seven days a week and provides a wide range of activities including, Education / Training, Sport / recreation activities,In Addition, we also provide opportunities for Children / Young people and the General public which include advocacy / advice and information services for the community.

Provides facilities for local residents of all age groups, including disabled to participate in many varied leisure and recreational pursuits.

Scout Group with the following: Beaver Colony, Cub Pack, Scouts. Usual activities e.g. regular meetings, camps, outdoor activities. As Scouts, we believe in preparing young people with skills for life. We encourage our young people to do more, learn more and be more. Each week, the 19th North Leeds Scout Group give young people the opportunity to enjoy fun and adventure while gaining skills.

MAKE GRANTS TO ORGANISATIONS and ACTIVITIES CLOSELY IN SYMPATHY OR RUN BY THE RELIGIOUS SOCIETY OF FRIENDS (QUAKERS), PARTICULARLY THOSE WHICH BENEFIT PEOPLE WHO BY REASON OF THEIR SOCIAL/ECONOMIC CIRCUMSTANCES HAVE A NEED OF EDUCATIONAL AND RECREATIONAL FACILITIES AND WHERE THERE IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO IMPROVE THE QUALITY OF LIFE AND DEVELOP MENTAL PHYSICAL AND SPIRITUAL CAPACITIES

To provide recreation facilities to the residents of Ewshot and the surrounding local areas.
