Leisure Charities

Pontfaen YFC meet on a weekly basis. The club is open to all young people aged 10 to 26 years of age. Activities include art & craft, drama, sport etc.

Provision and maintenance of village hall for local people and organisations for the purposes set out in the charity's governing document.

Village Hall available for recreational activities - e.g. Toddler Group, Over 60s, Fitness & Well-Being Groups, Parties & Social Gatherings, Village & Parish Council Meetings.

WE PROVIDE LEISURE & SOCIAL FACILITIES FOR RESIDENTS IN ALDWICK AND WEST MEADS. OFTEN PROVIDING THE ONLY CONTACT FOR SOME WITH THE REST OF SOCIETY. WE PROVIDE ARTS, CRAFTS, PATCHWORK & QUILTING, CARPET BOWLS, KEEP FIT, LINE DANCING, TAEKWONDO, BRIDGE CLUBS, SOCIAL CLUB, COFFEE MORNINGS & YOGA THE CENTRE IT IS WELL USED AND MUCH APPRECIATED BY THE RESIDENTS OF THE LOCAL AREA .

Providing a day centre for elderly people to meet, feel safe & socialize, in a warm & friendly environment, especially those who live alone or are in remote locations. Hot dinners, morning coffee & afternoon tea are provided at each meeting, with handicrafts, games & entertainment.

Activity ranging from craft to camping, climbing, first aid, global awareness, fundraising, disability awareness and inclusion, etc

An activity centre for Scouts and Guides and other youth organisations providing camping and residential faciltities.

The provision and maintenance of a village hall for the use of people of Garboldisham and the surrounding areas. This is to include use for recreational, cultural and sporting pursuits, as well as meetings, lectures, classes, and for other forms of community activities, with the aim of improving the quality of life for all the villagers.The village hall is the central point for the village.

PROVIDES BUILDINGS, FACILITIES AND A SPORTS FIELD FOR SPORTING AND RECREATIONAL USE.

To give financial assistance towards the organisation of events & facilities which will enable & encourage pupils of schools & universities in the UK to participate in activities associated with sailing. To assist in the provision of boats & sailing equipment for such pupils, to provide bursaries for disadvantaged youngsters to enable them to pursue sailing activities, provision of coach boats.

The management and maintainance of our Village Hall for the purpose of facilitating the provision of leisure-time, recreational educational and charitable activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for the inhabitants and charitable groups.in the Parish of Staining and its neighbourhood.
