Professions Charities

The charity helps to run a church offering regular Christian services of worship and teaching. We help run a residential school for poor children who would not otherwise be able to receive an education. We relieve sickness and preserve health, facilitating health care by professional Drs, therapists & nurses at hospitals in India. We relieve financial hardship by providing grants to the destitute.

Care for the elderly in care homes, work in schools, help in English and Polish parishes giving support to the parish priests and the communities. We work with children, teenagers and anyone who requires our help and support. We also give spiritual and practical support to the migrant families who have just arrived in the United Kingdom and require help adapting to life in Great Britain.

The PCC is responsible for co-operating with the vicar in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church. As followers of Jesus, we believe our mission is to build God's kingdom through making disciples in Tisbury and beyond. The PCC is also specifically responsible for the maintenance of the church building and a church hall.

St. Luke's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Vicar in promoting, in the ecclesiastical parish, the mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The PCC operates through a number of sub-committees which meet in-between PCC meetings.

The charity provides recreational ground and buildings for the people of the area.

The main object of the Society is to provide financial assistance to widow(er)s, orphans and dependants of deceased clergy who have previously served in the ministry of the Church in Wales.

The provision of a community centre and a youth centre and other facilities for recreation and other leisure-time occupation for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions with the object of improving their lives.

The support of a College established to train students for the Roman Catholic priesthood, concentrating on late vocations - those who as mature students wish to become priests. This education helps to promote religious practice in both the United Kingdom and overseas, with the ordination and subsequent ministries of priest in various Dioceses of all whom complete their course at the College.

The Parochial Church Council of Christ Church Little Heath works with the Vicar in promoting the mission and ministry in the Parish of Little Heath. It also has responsibility for the maintenance of the Church and grounds.

The charity provides education and training for junior doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

We provide safe and supportive space for all women to meet and reduce isolation; activities aimed towards preventative health, education and Crisis Intervention; Asian and Somali women's group, Irish women's support group, Rape and Sexual Assualt Group,Nurse,CAB surgery,Asian Women's Health Calendar,Workshops, Volunteer's Project, Gardening Project, Massage, Cancer support Classes and Events.

St Anne's provides a range of opportunities to the local community for Christian worship and the development of their Christian faith. Clergy and church members provide pastoral support to the local population and assist local community organisations through the use of the church and church centre and by managing the operation of the Parish Hall.

To promote and improve the health, social well being and conditions of living of persons who are or have been employed in the coal industry and their dependants.

The aid of secular priests of the Diocese of Northampton who are permanently or temporarily incapacitated by old age, infirmity, illness or accident. This is carried out through the provision of grant and some accommodation.

DIRT works toward regenerating soils that have been degraded by conventional agriculture and mining. Dirt's aim is to increase soil fertility, biodiversity, community wellness, water retention and absorption, greenhouse gas sequestration and educate about health land management including bio-dynamic farming.

Improving outcomes for children and young people through promoting and improving school and public health nursing.

The PCC is responsible, together with the clergy, for the operation of the Church of England Parish of St Chad's, Poulton-le-Fylde. Church services are almost daily and there are frequent Weddings and Funerals. Pastoral care is provided, study courses run, and links maintained with two Church Primary Schools. Grants are made to other charities and the Church Buildings maintained.

Christ Church Parochil Council (PCC), working with its Vicar, is responsible for promoting the life and mission of the church in the parish of Ottershaw. The PCC is also responsible for the church building and grounds.

Welfare Club hosting community activities such as Bingo, Bowling, U3A. A wide range of Community groups use our facilities such as Special Guardians, JIGSAW, British Heart Foundation and we hire function rooms out for Keep Fit, Parties, Meetings etc. We have a Rugby Section, Bowling Section, Darts & Doms and an Entertainment section for our members.

Thatcham PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Team Rector and Team Vicar in promoting in Thatcham Parish the whole mission of the church - spiritual, pastoral, evangelistic and ecumenical. The PCC met four times in 2022.Services are held in St Mary's, the Parish Church and at St Barnabas which meets in Thatcham Park Church of England Primary School.

The objectives of the association are as follows : 1.To advance education amongst members of the nursing profession about good nursing practices and to promote improved standards of nursing care of patients with HIV.2.To promote research into the promotion of HIV nursing skills.The objectives are achieved through Annual Conference,Study days,Website,Standards,Audits and Competencies.

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the Wednesfield Team works with the team clergy and through the District Church Councils of the team to promote the worship, mission and ministry of the Church of England in the Ecclesiastical Parish of Wednesfield, within the Diocese of Lichfield and Archdeaconry of Walsall.

To provide relief for former nurses who are in need, hardship or distress

GLYNAERON COASTAL LMA WAS FORMED IN 2019, IT IS AN UMBRELLA BODY FOR TEN CHURCHES IN THE DIOCESE OF ST DAVID'S IN SOUTHWEST WALES. THE CHURCHES FUNCTION INDEPENDENTLY BUT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF TWO PAID CLERGY.THE CHURCHES UNDERTAKE THE USUAL WORK THAT ALL CHURCHES DO INCLUDING SUNDAY WORSHIP, FELLOWSHIP GROUPS, PASTORAL CARE, BAPTISMS, WEDDINGS AND FUNERALS. ALL ACTIVITIES ARE OPEN TO ANYONE.

Chalfont St Peter Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility with the Vicar of furthering the whole mission of the Church, pastoral,evangelic,social and ecumenical within the parish. It also has the resposilibility to maintain the Parish Church of St.Peter,,All Saints' Church in Oval Way, St Paul's Church, Horn Hill and the Church Halls at the Parish Church and All Saints'
