Professions Charities

The Fund provides relief to serving C-of-E clergy in financial need. It does not consider individual applications but apportions its annual charitable income among the 42 dioceses of the C-of-E using an agreed formula. Each diocese applies the Fund's grant on a confidential basis through its discretionary funds.

Many sporting/leisure facilities are provided for the local community, including football, karate,bowls, snooker,pool, kick boxing, dancing, bingo, and flower arranging, etc. Many local organisations (like , Rugeley Stroke Club and Miners Memorial Society) use the premises, plus the WEA which provides art classes. The Welfare Centre is at the heart of the local community.

The purpose of the Fairfield Trust is to provide quality rented accommodation for missionaries, clergy and other Christian workers; their spouses, widows or widowers who, following careers serving humanity, either in the UK or abroad have been unable to provide for a home of their own.

The primary objective of St Elisabeth?s PCC is the promotion of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England.The PCC has responsibility,with the Vicar,for promoting in the parish the mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic,social and ecumenical.It also has maintenance responsibilities for St. Elisabeth's Church and Centre for Community

The Red Rose Steam Society Ltd. now trading as the Lancashire Mining Museum is a registered charity and a registered museum. It has the last mining headgear in the Lancashire Coalfield ands the largest winding engine in Europe - both are on the at risk register of listed buildings.. The Society continues to foster the love of industrial heritage particularly amongst young people

The Parochial Church Council (PCC) of the Church of St Andrew, Biggleswade has the responsibility of co-operating with the Vicar, the Reverend Guy Scott, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The PCC is also responsible for the maintenance of the church building.

UK Oncology Nursing Society supports training, education and general support to cancer nurses across the 4 nations of the UK.

Support to the parish clergy in providing Christian religious services within the Anglican Church open to the whole community, pastoral visiting and educational outreach work within All Saints' Parish. Use of other parish charity funds to relieve poverty and need within and outside the Parish. Donations to other charities . Use of the Church Hall as a meeting venue.

The Parochial Church Council of St Marys Church is responsible for the upkeep and running of our parish church, vicarage and church hall. Three services are held on a Sunday and one midweek. There is a programme of instruction for children between 3 and 15 years old. Comfort and support is administered to the needy and the sick by clergy and members of the church where necessary.

Bottesford with Ashby PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the team clergy in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has the responsibility for maintaining the Church buildings including St Paul's Church Hall.

St Peter's PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the Vicar and other clergy allocated to St Peter's Church in promoting the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical; both within the ecclesiastical parish and across the wider area of the Jubilee River Group of Anglican parishes.

THE PCC OF ALL SAINTS HAS THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR PROMOTING IN THE PARISH THE WHOLE MISSION OF THE CHURCH OF ENGLAND. IT ALSO HAS MAINTENANCE RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THE CHURCH BUILDING. IT PLAYS A FULL PART IN THE LIFE OF THE DEANERY AND THE DIOCESE, AND SUPPORTS ITS WORK THROUGH THE PARISH SHARE. THE DIOCESE SUPPORTS ALL SAINTS THROUGH THE PROVISION OF CLERGY AND THEIR HOUSING.

St Pauls Church Goodmayes operates in the Redbridge Deanery in the Chelmsford Diocese. The Parochial Church Council is responsible for co-operating with the Vicar, Reverend Janet Buchan, in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church: pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It is also responsible for the maintenance of the Church building and Community Centre.

St. Mary's Parish Church is working to be the church family meeting place to worship God, and bringing Godslove into Oxted and the wider world. It also has responsibilities ofstewardship for the church buildings.

The PCC is a Parochial Church Council and consists of the clergy and churchwardens of the parish, together with a number of representatives of the laity elected by the annual parochial church meeting of each parish. Its powers and duties are defined by legislation, and it has the responsibility of co-operating with the interim minister in promoting the mission of the Church in its parish.

Education of qualified registered nurses so that they can work with their church to provide health care (physical, mental and spiritual), advice and advocacy to their local community.Ongoing support for in post nurses and their appointing churches.Continuing education in the form of training days and an annual symposium.
