The centre provides a wide range of activities and project accessible by members of the local community. It is primarily aimed at the elderly and disabled, children and young people as well as the wider community. This may involve access to day care provision, Education & Training,Healthy Living activities etc The centre works with local groups and organisations to help deliver community project

To apply the trust fund and income therefrom for the benefit of such charitable purposes, charitable institutions or charitable foundations and in such manner and proportions as the trustees may determine. In particular, may relieve poverty, further the work of the Christian Church and advance education and may make grants for the welfare of the clergy and their dependants.

The Trust maintains the UK Police Roll of Honour, a record of public service and sacrifice of all British Police Officers who list their lives on and in the line of duty since the earliest days of professional law enforcement.

We are the Parish Church for Plympton St Mary. We provide facilities for the use of local organisations, for example our church's Plympton Foodbank and other Community Groups(for the elderly, Sports /Health/ children's groups). The clergy provide pastoral care for the local community and beyond. We also provide financial support for both religious and secular charities at home and abroad.

The charity provides a range of services which vary in their liturgical style including Children's Praise which seeks to reach out to younger people. Some members of our parish due to illness and age. Pastoral care is provided by the Vicar and the Lay Readers, prayer and the celebration of communion can be celebrated in either their homes or in hospital. Holy Saviour encourages mission to all.

Christ Church Friezland Parochial Church Council (PCC) has the responsibility of cooperating with the Team Rector, Team Vicar and all Assistant Clergy of the Benefice of the Saddleworth Team Ministry in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The PCC is also specifically responsible for the maintenance of the Church

To provide assistance to police officers who are either serving or retired members of the Thames Valley Police Benevolent Fund, their widows, widowers and dependants, who are regarded as being in necessitous circumstances. The charity therefore provides public benefit to those persons.

We engage in health promotion among the Ghanaian and other minority ethnic communities in London and surrounding areas.We also promote education and health in Ghana by supplying medical equipment and helping build and stock libraries for villages and small towns.

BEARS provides immediate medical care in support of the East of England Ambulance Service NHS Trust. The scheme operates across Essex and provides trained and equipped Doctors and Paramedics to respond to emergency calls. All the clinicians have undergone additional training to their base medical qualification to provide advanced care to any patient that is ill or injured within the county.

Responsibility of cooperating with the Vicar in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. The primary object of the PCC is the promotion of the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ according to the doctrines and practices of the Church of England.

DIRT works toward regenerating soils that have been degraded by conventional agriculture and mining. Dirt's aim is to increase soil fertility, biodiversity, community wellness, water retention and absorption, greenhouse gas sequestration and educate about health land management including bio-dynamic farming.

The provision of a social welfare centre and recreation ground for the benefit of the inhabitants (and in particular, but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community) of the area of benefit.

Plymstock & Hooe Parochial Church Council has the responsibility of co-operating with the clergy of the parish in promoting the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical.

Support for ex miners

The Charity of Ann Edwards was est by a bequest of Ann Edwards, for the building of almshouses to house clergy widows & female dependants of clergymen who had served in the Diocese of Gloucester. The almshouses were sold, & a new development of 8 housing units at Abbeydale was completed in 1994. The 1993 CC Scheme widened the qualification for residence to any poor single lady members of the CofE

A NATIONAL ORGANISATION WHOSE MEMBERS CONSIST OF PROFESSIONALS INVOLVED IN NEONATAL CARE.WE AIM TO ACT AS A RESOURCE FOR OUR MEMBERS AND AN ADVOCATE FOR NEONATES AND THEIR FAMILIES BOTH PROFESSIONALLY AND IN THE POLITICAL ARENA.WE PUBLISH A PROFESSIONAL JOURNAL 6 TIMES A YEAR AND ENCOURAGE MEMBERS TO NETWORK WITH THEIR COLLEAGUES THROUGH AN ANNUAL CONFERENCE.

Wirral Fox Rescue, formally Pawprints, is Wirral's only dedicated centre for the rescue, rehabilitation and release of foxes. Through a combination of coordinated veterinary services and our excellent in house programme, we aim to nurse our foxes back to health before releasing them into the wild, preferably where they were first found.

The purpose of the charity is promoting the whole mission of the Church. The church is open daily for private prayer and services are held on Sundays, Wednesdays and Christian Festivals, and family occasions. Services are also held in residential homes and the local sports club. The vicar is very involved with the village primary school. Members of the PCC organise fund raising social events.

Grants and other financial help for the training and general welfare of Community Nurses, (including nurses in general practice, hospice nurses working in the community and nurses practicing community nursing in Hertfordshire). Also help towards improving working conditions/equipment.There are 10 apartments located at Knebworth in Hertfordshire, which are let to working and retired nurses.

Provision of facilities for School and University teachers to run one-day or two-day field courses that will introduce young people to subjects relevant to the minerals industry such as applied geology, metalliferous mining and mineral extraction. The Charity also hosts visits to the mine by local interest groups and by interested post-graduate departments of Universities. It encourages research.
