The aim of the Medway Hindu Mandir is to promote Santana Dharma (Hinduism). To teach and remind values of Hindu religious & Indian culture, regardless of caste, creed, colour, sex, disability, nationality and be open for all to come together - all inter faiths welcome. Serving the local Medway community and nearby NHS staff and nurses with food and any other amenities feasible.

During the financial year items bought for the benefit of patients included replacement syringe drivers; a suction pump; a mechanical hoist; and a special mattress. Assistance towards the cost of palliative care training and related conferances was agreed for 9 staff members of the establishments supported.

To assist in the provision of holidays in the interests of social welfare for clergy, ordinands and lay workers of the Church of England and their families.

Our activities are to educate, encourage and transform the lives of young people who are vulnerable or at risk of offending or re-offending by a commitment to being part of the solution to safer communities and working partnership with school teachers, social workers, youth offending teams, probation officers, police officers, youth workers, prison officers and other organisations to reduce crime.

The principal objects of the charity are to promote and further multi-disciplinary best practice in the prevention, treatment and management of wounds and the advancement of education of nurses and other persons involved in the treament of persons with skin wounds and of the public generally in relation to wound care and tissue viability. The charity operates across the United Kingdom.

To provide a recreation ground and welfare amenities for the benefit of the inhabitants of the area of benefit without distinction of political, religious or other opinions with the object of improving the conditions of life for the said inhabitants (in particular but not exclusively, such of the said inhabitants as are members of the mining community).

To operate a museum depicting the social history of mining within South Wales and the associated industries. To further education in relation to mining heritage.

Vimba channels its energy and funds on Child Feeding and Education Centres. Children receive :One guaranteed nutritional meal a day, Informal education, Regular medical checks by a nurse. Vimba is also working with a primary school of 270 pupils regenerating their existing derelict buildings and resources, providing them with running water and electricity as well as one meal a day for all pupils.

The charity supports the activities of the Vicar of St John the Devine, Kennington in his parish.

Financial support to Church of England Dioceses of Manchester Liverpool Chester and Blackburn

THT runs a range of activities to inform the public about the heritage of the Tavistock area, including guided walks, lectures and open days. Our main project is the restoration and repurposing of the Tavistock Guildhall to create a new Visitor Interpretation Centre which will introduce visitors to the history of the town and the Cornwall & West Devon Mining Landscape World Heritage Site.

The charity allows its land and buildings to be used by members of the local community for private functions and by user groups for activities including bowls, rugby, football, line dancing, archery and craft classes. It has a connected trading company which runs a licensed bar and which transfers any taxable profits it makes to the charity under a gift aid agreement.

The charity supports the work of St Laurence Church Reading by contributing to clergy stipend and worship resources.

The aim of the charity is the education of men who intend to be ordained as priests and serve in the Greek Orthodox Archidiocese Of Thyateira And Great Britain. The properties acquired in 2001 and 2002 provide suitable teaching environment to part-time and volunteer teachers.

The Trustees continue, as their primary function to make donations to non-conformist clergy for holidays that they would otherwise be unable to afford.

THE CHARITY CARRIES OUT FUNDRAISING EVENTS TO RAISE MONEY TO SUPPORT ITS OBJECTIVE. WE HAVE EDUCATIONAL CONFERENCES, HEALTH FAIRS, CULTURAL EVENINGS AND DINNER & DANCE. WE SUPPORT COMMUNITY PROJECTS BOTH IN THE UK AND OVERSEAS. WE OFFER GRANTS AND BURSARIES TO INDIVIDUALS TO SUPPORT THEIR EDUCATIONAL DEVELOPMENT OR COMMUNITY PROJECT.

To apply its income, and with discretion, its capital to relieve clergy who are in conditions of need, hardship and distress, who are serving or have served in Buckinghamshire Archdeaconry of the Oxford Diocese, or the widows, widowers, children and orphans of such clergy, with a preference to those resident in the Buckinghamshire Archdeaconry

We teach Western Medical Acupuncture to doctors, nurses and physiotherapists. We look to businesses and other donors to assist by paying the fees of nurses who are keen to expand their knowledge for the good of sick patients. Some of our nurses use acupuncture in the NHS and help patients by easing the symptoms of illness and can clear the patients entirely from the condition they present with.
