Makes financial grants to clergy and their widows/widowers who hold, or have held, some ecclesiastical office within the Archdeaconry of Bekshire.

The charity provides grants for widows, widowers, divorced, deserted, separated spouses and retired and active clergy who are in need, hardship or distress.

The Trustees receive suggestions each year from the diocesan authorities of Liverpool and Chester of clergy who are in need of a holiday and are not able to afford a suitable one.

The charity offers financial aid to the elderly and young living in the district of Brentwood with preference for persons resident in the parish of Hutton. Requests are considered and approved by the trustees before aid is granted. Needs are often highlighted by local priests, church workers and headteachers. Requests are also made through the Citizens Advice Bureau.

The Trust seeks to promote schemes of lasting benefit to people in mining and former mining communities in the Yorkshire area within the objects of the CISWO charity and which may be determined from time to time by the CISWO charity.

The charity is raising funds to build a centre for the sick children of Carmarthenshire.Canolfan Plant Sir Gar. This will provide a modern, child and family friendly environment where doctors, nurses and therapists can offer assessment and treatment to children and young people with complex medical and disabling conditions, and give advice and support to them and their families.

We award grants to relieve the needs of residents in Gloucestershire who are sick, convalescent, mentally or physically disabled or infirm. The grants cover the costs of items, services etc. which alleviate their suffering or assist their recovery. We also make training grants to health care professionals engaged in community healthcare in Gloucestershire.

The trust makes grants to those who work in, or have worked in, the coal mining industry and are suffering hardship, it also supports organisations in coalfield areas/communities

The VGF makes small grants to charities and organisations for the relief of poverty and for the furthering of Christianity.

The object of the charity is to provide or assist in the provision of facilities for the benefit of the people living in and around the town of Cinderford in Gloucestershire, with the object of improving the lives of those people, especially (but not exclusively) those who are members of the mining community.

Provide facilites and support for local activity groups and the local community.

Helping elderly nurses, whether registered or enrolled, of giving grants to nurses taking Post Registration or Enrolment courses and by providing aid to any nurse in distress who has worked in the qualifying area for a reasonable period

The Charity makes grants to individuals to promote and encourage the continuing education and training in medicine of doctors, nurses and midwives working in the area and of others concerned with the treatment of patients within the area. To promote medical research and its dissemination.

Recreation ground

Our initial aim was to help treatment of children and adolescents with cancer in Malawi by supporting purchase of vital chemotherapy and funding the employment of a new nurse(s). We have helped purchase medical equipment and provide funds to improve facilities for patients and families. Travel grants for trustees (2) to provide expert specialist teaching and mentoring of staff have been funded.

Provides bereavement grants,bi-annual grants and one-off grants to support dependants of deceased clergy who have been licensed in the diocese of Norwich.

We support our members by holding an annual weekend conference, a reflective weekend and publishing a journal four times a year. We promote workplace ministry throughout church structures and offer support for reflection on workplace ministry to ordinands. We are in contact with worker priests in Europe and other parts of the world.

Help with the school fees of sons of Church of England clergy educated at the Exeter Cathedral School.

Small Grant Making Trust. The trust can only make grants to Christian organisations, projects, clergy or workers and their families. However worthy other causes, grants can not be made to these.
