The Friends of Salisbury Cathedral exists to support the Chapter of Salisbury Cathedral, through its objects in the Constitution. To do this we collect members subscriptions, receive donations, bequests and legacies and, out of these, make grants to the Cathedral. We come together in a common fellowship of loyalty and devotion to care for the Cathedral.

Voluntary Uniformed Youth Organisation, for children from age 4 to 18 in four sections, Martins, Y Team, JTC, Seniors.Each section, has its own activity programme and badge scheme. Groups develop personal skills, abilities, grow self-confidence and offer adventurous activities, camping trips and nurture whilst maintaining a Christian ethos.

The Fellowship meets every week for mutual encouragement and development of relationships with God and with each other. The fellowship offers support in times of difficulties in life. The charity constructed and now maintains the Jalaram Prarthana Mandal, this involves providing a temple for a place of worship. An adjacent building has been purchased and is used for community activities open to all faiths. The charity also assists local and overseas charities with similar objectives to the Mandal.
