Operates as a cafe church with activities including the offer of pastoral listening; an accessible Christian presence; regular public worship, prayer, bible study, preaching and teaching; the teaching, encouragement, welcome and inclusion of young people; nurture and growth of Christian disciples; education and training for Christian community service; supporting social action in Sefton.

Bowdon PCC has the responsibility of co-operating with the incumbent, the Revd. Ian Rumsey, in promoting the ecclesiastical parish, the whole mission of the Church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for St. Marys Church, St. Lukes Church and the Bowdon Parish Centre, all based in Bowdon, Cheshire.

The principal purpose of the Charity is the advancement of the Christian faith according to the principles of the Baptist denomination. The PCC of the Parish of Bromsgrove with the Councils of the District Churches has responsibility for co-operating with the Ordained and Lay Ministry Team in promoting in the ecclesiastical parish the whole mission of the church, pastoral, evangelistic, social and ecumenical. It also has maintenance responsibilities for churches, halls, other buildings and assets of the Anglican Parish churches.
